Great video Olli. Would have been good to have some information about where to stay. The Cycling in Flanders website has a list of hotels & bicycle rental locations in the area. The Flandrien Hotel is located between Oudenaarde and Geraardsbergen and is an excellent choice for those taking on the Flandrien Challenge.

Been waiting to see the 'matte bronze' colour, so popular today in the automotive world, applied to road bikes. I do predict a return to polished aluminum bars, stems, cranks etc. Not sure about the rest of you, but I'm a bit weary of anodized black.

Hey Ollie, great review as always, luv your details on most of the bike, but, what about talking about aero rear lights. I have an aero seat tube and have had a harder time finding great lights that fit the aero seat tube. I've found most lights fit on round tubes. In this video I noticed it's an aero seat tube and the light fits it. What type of light is that and make? Justridethebike!

I did 15 of these Flemish bergs a few weeks ago on my Orca Aero 2021 model. Not sure if it's the most comfortable for a light rider like me.
Also, I had 28mm tires at 4bar and was still slipping on the wet cobbles. I think I easily lost 20sec on the Paterberg due to lack of grip :D

I’m enjoying the bike so far th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
