If you pay attention some of the best oldies, and what makes some of them better than others is a lot of those great songs will at some point in the song break it down and either tell you a little story about what’s going on in their heart and their mind as the music is playing or they’ll sing about wants going on and take you on a little detour and then bring you back into the song. In this song in particular he starts saying in the middle of the song “Sometimes I need you to show me it’s not a mirage…” , and when he’s done talking to her he jumps back into the song. It’s pretty cool, and gives a little more depth to the lyrics.
