How to use an audio(.wav) file as a PSpice source

  • I tried to explain how you can use Audacity to convert an audio file into something that Pspice can read as a voltage source. That might be cool if you wanted to design a filter, an ampli, a distorter, and listen at the output result. I'm sorry if I was too fast, but I had just 10 minutes of recording!
    Also I'm using the laptop microphone, very low quality mic. Thanks!

    Why my pspice sound has more time than the real one ?

      Hi there, that's a bit weird. If the exported file from audacity is with the right structure, a column for time and a column for amplitudes, pspice should interpret it as a generic waveform, fine to import. Be sure to look at the actual duration of the signal. As you can see in my case times are shown ranging up to 1.6 seconds, but the signal is stopping at 1.4s correctly. That 1.6s is just the time window of pspice, and doesn't really have to do anything with the actual duration of the signal. Let me know
