They didn’t put any of the games from the 07-08 season in there. It was a rebuilding year. They would have curb stomped Michigan if they played them the next two years, with all due respect
This was the day Michigan football died. At least they went out with a W. Not sure what I've watched every year in Ann Arbor since then but it only losely resembles the Michigan football I grew up watching. The stadium, band, and uniforms are the only familiar sight on game day anymore.
The day Michigan Football died was the 2006 loss to Ohio State. But of the 20 years I went to the games this is the second sweetest win I can remember because against all odds they sent Lloyd out with a win
Where the f$ck was this offense at against OSU. Now we want to open up the damn offense. Stubborn ass Llyod didn't want to let go of that 80s archaic offense that was so popular with Bo.
I know this killed Michigan. But imagine if they adopted this at the start of the 2007 season? They would’ve gone 12-0, & had Henne win a Heisman. They were built for this. Manningham, Arrington, that oline, spreading the defense out. There would’ve been way less injuries from being 1 dimensional & predictable. They would put up a fight against Oregon, beat Wisconsin with all their starters & had more than 85 yards of offense against Ohio state.
Injuries, injuries, injuries. I know injuries dont explain the beginning of the season, but with Lloyd Carr announcing his retirement just prior, it explains why they were distracted for App St, and then demoralized the next week at Oregon.
If Michigan adopted this offense they would've went 10-3 at worst with a Rose bowl loss to USC and 13-1 at best with a national title. Oregon being the lone loss
They weren’t healthy at all in 2007. Henne was battling an injured knee, Hart was fighting with his ankle problems and both Arrington and Manningham were banged up too. Carr even said in the post game “it helped we were healthy.” I can’t explain the App State game but that team was not nearly close to 100% that season
they were definitely as good. Both sides of the ball were loaded for Michigan. They were picked to win the national title pre season based on talent lol. teh lost to APP state and Oregon back to back. It was a bad year.@@nathaniellathy6559
@@altonmccoy8899 If I recall correctly they didn't take that game seriously at all. And I'm not saying that in a way to cope but I heard guys were high and during the game, like they absolutely blew it by not giving App St due credit.
Back when bowl games were fun and exciting to watch and the star players actually played even if it was a meaningless game. None of this sitting out nonsense
Lloyd Carr was a great coach. His Michigan teams were always tough. And a good man. No question. Michigan hasn’t been comparable with the SEC since. That is a fact.
Even though we lost every year to OSU, i loved this michigan team. The henne + hart years. I just loved these guys.
That’s how us Ohio State fans feel about Stroud and JSN.
06 was bs 1v2
Back when they didn't sit out bowl games. Better days
They ain’t put this game in the Florida documentary 😂😂😂😂
So lame so scared

Go blue

@@pinchevulpes Since we reaching ALL THE WAY back to this moment, what happened when Michigan recently played Florida?
Anyone here after "Swamp Kings?". This game was no where to be found.
I was at this game. It was wild seeing Florida lose the only bowl game in the Tebow era
Awesome game, good memories, great players. Nice uniforms. Thanks for the video. Go Blue.
I was at this game with three Florida fans. Boy did they have to eat crow.
It was awesome to be there and watch them play.
This was 2 teams that grossly underachieved, and you can see it from the talent level.

I remember I was watching this game at a Chinese buffet in Gainesville lol
This was Michigan's Last Bowl appearance of the Decade 2000's heading back to back losing seasons in 2008 and 2009.
Never should have fired Lloyd Carr but he couldn't figure out the spread quick enough, on the way out the door proves he can coach the spread to.
never should've hired Rich Rod..Lloyd Carr's time was up..Jim Harbaugh was a good hire..🏈💺🟨
He wasn’t fired, he retired.
@@fiesta061000Carr didn't help with the transition. RichRod had to rebuild the program and his win record improved every season.
This season was so incredibly disappointing, but this game saved it from being an outright disaster.
Michigan’s only win versus Urban Meyer
Versus his best team too
if michigan didn't turn this ball over with fumbles, it would have been a blowout
