Cycling the NC500 - Assynt section - Day 5 to Lairg

This video is of a cycle trip around the Assynt region of the Scottish Highlands and on part of the NC500. In this video i cycle from Scourie to Lairg. Part way along I leave the NC500 and cycle on the single track A838 to Lairg. This scenic road follows Lochs More, Merkland and Shin, eventually reaching Lairg.

@@SimplyCyclingtoursandrides haha yes, I never thought of it like that! Probably because I'm cycling or canoeing in Scotland so often. If I don't do a multi-day Northumberland backpack on Thursday I'll be on my touring bike for a few days around Dumfries and Galloway instead.
I just love Scotland!

I agree but I can drive to Scotland. Lofoten is on my radar for next year. Looks amazing
