My charger works fine in that it lights up but then doesn't charge when plugged into my dell inspiron 5520 and the light goes out. And the computer won't start up. Is it the mother board? How to Fix?
@@ericl8407 is the one you bought a charger branded as Dell? Some aftermarket chargers, while compatible with Dell, don't work the same as a Dell charger. I had to buy another Dell OEM charger off eBay and that fixed my charging issue. In my case, the aftermarket charger supplied power to run the laptop but the battery would not charge.
@@TheChilvar yes my chargers has a dell brand on it. Its just that on the new mother board the light on the charger stays on while the charging status light on the laptop stays off
I just found one of these in the trash, but when I powered it on, it beeped five times. According to a Google search, that means CMOS battery needs replacing. Dell REALLY wants you to throw these laptops out, don't they? There is absolutely no frigging reason you should have to disassemble the whole frigging laptop just to change the damn battery, especially when they KNEW it would eventually wear out. They could have easily put it under a cover on the bottom.
Didn't see it too close but can the CPU (Intel?) be upgraded as well? 🤔 Thanks
Hello, can you tell me what type of screws are the ones that hold the motherboard and those that hold the heat sink to the CPU and GPU?
Hello, my LCD screen is broken, where can I buy for a replacement?
What is cmos battery model used in this laptop?
What type is recommended (Rechargeable or non-rechargable)?
CMOS 2032
Does this model take SSD?
I also have the same question

Are you using the OEM charger or an aftermarket one? I had a similar issue caused by an aftermarket charger.
@@TheChilvar aftermarket? I got mine from amazon after my original died
