Hi, I am thinking of bying the same car (civic sport line) from the store, but not sure if its a better idea to wait for the Advance version instead, as they told me I have to wait a lot of time (9 months) or should I wait for the facelift ? what is your opinion?

@@carinik Thank you. I have ordered the Advance in blue, very impressed with the comfort, performance and equipment. I currently own a FK8, but this car won me over when i test drove it.
Would it be ok if I drive it on the highway for 50 km in one way every day? Im thinking about the fuel consumption. I dont know if the car will recharge the battery that way.. i wpuld be driving 80-120 max
I realize this was 1 year ago, but to anyone asking the same question, no, money-wise hybrid is a waste if you'll drive mostly highway. Not so much for the battery but you'll use fuel almost like with normal petrol engine. Saving is there but minimal. If you're doing at least 50% of town/city - rock 'n roll.
The consumption varies much, due to traffic conditions: how much you drive in city mode until you reach the highway; occasional traffic jams on the highway; weather conditions (in this video we see heavy rain and, maybe, some wind); how much you drive again in city conditions once you leave the highway; your own driving style. A HEV is a must for city traffic and a compromise in highway traffic. I made today a drive test with this Civic and I managed to drive twice, for short times, at 120 km/h in electric mode (as with an EV). Then, I entered in a traffic jam and I managed to drive in a kind of one-pedal mode: slowing down with the break pedal and then letting the car to go by itself, also in electric mode. I have a Civic X and this upgrade will be a must; Civic X is not suitable for city traffic.
One is the avarege value since the last refuel, the other (on the dashboard) is the averege since turned on the engine and reset each time you turn off it.
A video like this had determined me to buy the Civic X, back in 2019. No speaking, no blah-blah, just driving. Now I want to buy this Civic, either in Sport or Advance (I don’t like the leather on the seats, in hot summer the seats are really cooking my back). Driving on the highway with top speeds 130-160 km/h, and in a traffic jam: the consumption dropped from 7,9% to 7,7% (just a test drive).

If you would compare it with A3 tfsi you drove recently, which one is more pleasant for highway cruising at 130kmh? I assume Audi is better isolated, but are they similar or one is way worse than the other?
Muy buen video, amigo. Disfrútalo todo lo que puedas, aquí en España aún no lo podemos comprar, por un problema de producción.
Muchas gracias!

6.5l/100km 130km/h highway consumption?
Did you find much of a difference in terms of performance between each driving mode ?
Only in Eco mode is the throttle response slightly different, while Normal and Sport are very similar. Only Sport brings a cool sound...

It will recharge because on the highway you go up and down even at (over) small tunnels. But also if you lose some speed.

Test ride or drive?
How should I read a Honda's consumption monitor? There is one value on the right hand side monitor, another average on the speedometer.
One is the avarege value since the last refuel, the other (on the dashboard) is the averege since turned on the engine and reset each time you turn off it.
Some audio would be great!
