Got mine today. Holy shit this thing is the dumbest, coolest thing I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. He is every single 5-year-old bad guy idea I have EVER had rolled into one and it takes every single thing in me to not woosh him around the house and make monster noises. I didn't know what I'd be doing at 27, but I think kid me would be happy that it would be this
This thing is an absolute unit. I was not prepared for the sheer chonk of this guy. And it has the most rugged joints I have ever seen on a Hasbro figure, I'm impressed that they went all out on Seasaurus' neck with all those beefy joints offering huge range. My only complaints are that some things are little too tight and cause some anxiety when I try to move them, like getting his chest plate to unpeg fresh out of the box took way more effort than it should. But hopefully that will loosen up a little over time, these Legacy toys have been really hit-or-miss when it comes to tolerances in the engineering, they could have designed them with just a hair more leeway. And my other complaint is that the sword is soft plastic, I know why they did it but mine came slightly bent out of the box and it's going to bother me.
Shouold be getting my Magmatron soon - if not tomorrow, then the other side of the weekend. I do still have my "classic" Magmatron from Beast Wars/Beast Machines. The thumb is broken but I think I want to compare it to the new Magmatron, see how the sizes and transformation pattern match up.
Nice video. Helped a lot. I like this figure. The separation into individual dinosaurs is impressive. The bot mode doesn't suffer because of it. It was worth the commander price.
I've had this guy for a month already and that's probably one of my favourite buys this year. The individual beast modes look great and have very few issues with them, the Gigantosaurus suffers the most out of the 3 but it's not that big a deal, not like you'll be displaying him from the side anyway. The robot mode is incredible at first glance but you'll realise the way they designed the arms, the flat panels are meant to be on the inside but that gives him gorilla arms which is unfortunate. The joints are VERY stiff and I love that. Nice and clicky 😉. Magmasaurus mode is definitely something alright. Id say out of the 3 modes that's the one that suffers the most but all things considered it does what it needs to. Landsaurus plugs inside of Seasaurus, skysaurus keeps them connected and soldi. It's just a little gappy on the sides. I'm not sure but is there any weapon storage in robot mode. I know you can put the blade in his tail, technically if you wanted to give him a "cape" you can use the Magmasaurus connection for the shield, but what about his sword hilt, can that go anywhere or does he just needs to hold it?
Great video as usual, but you go too fast! I had to run parts back 5 or 6 times to see what you're doing. It's like you're trying to get through it as fast as possible. Maybe stop for a couple beats at each step so we can see what you're doing.
mine came in this morning. god hes big. bigger than the SS86 ultra magnus. had to re-arrange my display. also hes amazing and was worth the buy.
I love that there making more accurate toys for long time fans
I just got Magmatron and this video really helped me with his un-packaging.
Thanks Again!
Emgo!!!.... thank God for these videos. Way easier then to understand then the printed instructions.
Your JTIs are invaluable to the Transformer community. Thank you!

Magmasaurus mode
If you make a "Just Transform It" for the Masterpiece Riggorus, I will be your bestest friend!
Magmasaurus sucks
