Wow, they actually brought back the "spark crystals" from that the Transmetal 2 toys had back in 1999. Talk about a callback! And I have to give credit to Hasbro and Takara. I was expecting there to be more partsforming other than the weapons but they managed to pull it off. However that Magmasaurus mode is just an eyesore. One of those things that doesn't seem to translate well to toy mode what with how messy it is and how many gaps it leaves.
It's an amazing new version for Magmatron...but if I have to point out one issue that I have with it, is that the pteranodon component in the Magmasaurus mode, unlike in the original version, looks like it's just laying on the back of the combined mode, instead of transforming a bit into something that looks like a part of the combination, which looks a bit weird. Still, the overall figure looks amazing, and thank you for another great video, Touch Toys!😊

This transformer from Beast Wars Neo does question the design. Yea it is a triple charger like others such as big convoy. But gosh why need three dinosaur? Is it based on original Megatron but instead of One they opt for there. In the anime only the T-rex part has most screen time. The other part's Will comes on if he needs to transform. Which is very weird.
Something I like about this new Magmatron toy is that the individual components are more paleontologically accurate than their old toys.

Honestly, Magmatron always reminded me of a Power Rangers Megazord and I love it for that.
Yeah, and his head, and how it's formed, is reminiscent of Zeo Megazord/Ohranger Robo.

I love the first combination. The second one looks funny though. Looks like 2 dogs interlocked. The green one is the female dog screaming for pain.
