@ Maybe try to find the little things you really like about people without having any attachment to whether or not they like you. That's helped a lot at work: I try to really enjoy my clients and be completely non-judgmental of them.
@ Also, maybe really pay attention to the behavior of those people that everyone seems to like. How are you and they different? Sometimes people really dislike me and I then try to figure out why. I may not care to do anything about it but I always want to understand what's going on there. Good luck!

Many people don't seem to realize how big of a world exists inside of the mind of an introvert. I like to imagine myself living inside of my mind. It is like my own personal little ocean of emotions and feelings. And I sit there on a tiny little boat enjoying my life as I watch the waves go by. Sometimes the ocean gets stormy, but I keep on rowing until a brighter day comes. I'm just waiting for that one day when I see another person rowing along in the distance so we can meet and enjoy watching the waves go by together. ❤

Kinda true, except I threw it at a person who was intentionally pissing me off instead of a person I liked.
Introverts are very sensitive, and usually come from dysfunctional homes. (like most of us) But they are terribly afraid of intimacy, usually because they were enmeshed with one or more parents growing up.
Introverts are terribly afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of losing themselves in an intimate relationship.
We will be doing more videos on this subject as well. It deserves more attention...This one was great.
Not true regarding the causes of introversion -- this is actually mostly an INHERITED trait, and has NOTHING to do with your experience during childhood!
I've dating an introvert guy for the past 3 years... and it's very accurate all of the signs. Even the fact that he's a foreign guy in my country it was lonely for him, I tried to be there for him and after 4 months trying to grow our interest for each other, he asked me to be his girlfriend and here we are... time goes fast.

Introvert tribe!!!! When I was younger, I always thought I was the odd one out for not really needing to hang out with friends every single day, week, or month, but found great comfort in time alone to reflect, recharge and relax. I rather spend time with people whom I can truly connect with, otherwise I'd prefer hanging out with myself lol but I'm happy to have friends who are extroverts and understand my nature :)

I found it difficult to really show my affection to my girlfriend at first, since close, physical and affectionate contact was something I had never really experienced very much as an introvert. I usually keep everyone at arm's length and value my personal space. But after realizing that my girlfriend was giving me the time to come around and wouldn't judge me for not being a textbook Casanova, that nut was eventually cracked and it's been great ever since. At first it was more of a nervous and short kiss, now it's lengthy and passionate. Sitting next to each other has become lovingly snuggling under a comfy blanket while watching a movie and emptying a bottle of wine.
Inviting her into my appartment was also weird at first, since I usually like to keep to myself. But suddenly there was this attractive, charming woman in my life and in my home and I did everything I could to make her feel comfortable. She came by just for a cup of coffee in the early afternoon and left just before midnight. So I guess I did something right.
Being an introvert makes it somewhat difficult to start a relationship. But once you're over that first phase, it does get much easier and you'll find that it's these traits which make you so much more interesting.

You know you have a crush when you're an introvert and you go to a party (the ones with +20 people, argh) just because you might meet her there. Or you start talking to people (you start the conversation!) because she's friends with them, and perhaps they will say nice things about you to her. It's a shame extroverts will never know how much these things take effort ahahaha

And I almost felt alone my entire life. Like I was some sort of alien in this world. Like something was wrong with me. Nothing was wrong with me. Except my knowledge of myself. And the fear of my own soul. This book literally saved my life. Jung saved my life. Because he gave me the strength to face my biggest fears. May he give it to you as well 💚🕉️🌟 and like I said. This was surprisingly accurate. I've been instant messaging this girl I like and we really hit it off. I usually enjoy my time where it's just me, but if she wanted to hang out, I'd go for it, or if we both wanted to go out. I know her birthday, so that's a start.We both have our fair share of personal topics.
We haven't had any secrets revealed. I really like keeping in touch with her and her sisters. They're good people. I'm nervous about #9. They know I'm weird, but this might be a bit much early on. We introverts are loyal once we find that one special person. This happens to be a long distance relationship. I started coming out of my comfort zone a while back, so I'm not afraid to make a move.

On one hand, the grass is always greener on the other side. If you just know someone through the internet, it’s easier to not see their flaws because they‘d naturally rather talk about their hobbies and other things they like online. This makes it easy to idealize the positivity that comes with them when it’s actually just selective.
On the other hand, you should tell her how you feel. You can‘t expect her to know about how you feel if you don’t tell her, especially if she has depression. She might think you’re doing this because you feel sorry for her, not because you actually like her.

Im a introvert and recently asked another introvert to coming home. They said yes! Plus she even made me help her pick out her clothes and stuff. These videos really help so thank you i guess. @@Psych2go I have to pluck up alot of courage to call people even my closest friends, I am not very romantic but I've become more emotionally vulnerable with him and he sees that I am very tense he helps me relax like telling jokes or starting an interesting conversation which I love. He always helps me step out of my comfort zone but never forces me.
My husband is one and I have lots of friends who are and I’ve always immediately gravitated towards them. Even to cat introverts. It feels beautiful to win their love and friendship. My husband is so special and I don’t mind the slow and steady wind the race opportunity to get to know someone bc that’s how lifelong friendship is made. Even w my cat bunny who was growling and shy biting and scared it’s taken her 4.5 years of slow steady love and affection to win her trust. It feels amazing to see her blossom and give love!! I'm pretty much all of that except the last point. I very rarely step out of my comfort zone, especially when it comes to my crush. Everything else is spot on though, it is nice to know that some of the issues I struggle with are common and that there are more people like myself out there, even though I have always felt like the odd one.
