I like the still frame shot at the end, the I don’t know look! You’re ready for training! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations!! That's awesome. I would love to see a video of you getting into the left seat. I tried getting into one at Oshkosh a couple years ago and failed miserably. LOL! As one of the first 25 subscribers, I want a free tee shirt when you get famous like P1D. :-)

Hello and thanks for the comment. I will absolutely make a short video on getting into the left seat. To be honest, it isn't easy, it is tight up there. I saw a similar experience from PremierOne Flyer getting into a jet. Stay tuned. And yes, if this ever turns into something where I have T-Shirts, you will get one for free!

I'll start official training early March. I'll try and add more videos assuming they let me record the sessions.

So, you won’t fly it on your own until you completed training at flightsafety right? Do you need a certain number of hours with someone in the right seat monitoring?

@@cloudstreets1396 correct. Insurance requires 25 hours dual time and 40 hours total before I can carry passengers. I’ll be doing the training at Legacy in Arizona. SIM and in plane training.

What made you buy a M500 over other planes? I'd love to know more about your selection process. Congratulations on the new plane!

Excellent question. I was transitioning from a Cessna t206. The main things I wanted in the new plane was air conditioning, NXI, and a GFC700 auto pilot. I was first considering a Cirrus SR22t. However, getting in and out might be an issue for our dog. Yes, we are planning on flying with our dog. In looking at the piper m350, it seemed to have everything we were looking for. E went four a demo flight and wow. Pressurization is a game changer. I was set. Doing more research, it seemed that the PT6 was the way to go off you can afford it. Extremely reliable, fast, and has reverse to name a few advantages. We scraped to gather our pennies and decided to go that route. One thing to keep in mind is insurance. It is hard to get and very expensive four a LOE time pilot with no turbine time.

@@nodouttaviation2817 Yup on the insurance. I went from a Piper Saratoga to a Cessna Conquest II, twin engine turboprop. I had 7 hours of multi and zero hours of turbine time when I took possession. Needless to say, the underwriters wanted lots of training and it’s still expensive.
