Thank you for the quick overview of this fridge. The one thing that impressed me was easy access to the filter. I hated having to reach inside the top left corner of my LG refrigerator each time I had to replace its filter. This one is easy and quick to get to. The LG I have is about 7 years old and has the door-in-door and also ice maker design like this one. I'm glad GE was able to get LG's idea and incorporate it as their own. Great design!

But you have to open BOTH main doors to access one crisper drawer, because the inside edges of the crisper drawers - purely ornamental - are too wide. Brilliant GE.
NOTE:
Bottom freezer top drawer doesn't roll out all the way- very weird compared to others that open all the way out to access the items..
This has been my favorite fridge to sell at our local appliance store. These are gone the same week we can get them in.
Bought this model, but after the warranty ran out, the ice maker quit working. It will cost hundreds of $$$ to get it fixed. I paid over $3000 for this fridge and I have to buy bags of ice and keep in a separate freezer. My old Samsung worked perfectly, but it was black and the wife wanted a new stainless. Bad choice. Won't buy another GE now.
The light senses when you walk and automatically comes back on, by if you leave it on position. Reminds me to drink plenty of water.

I just had this installed 12/22/22. The middle drawer started squealiing horribly and open hard. I tried petroleum jelly as recommended but no better. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks
what filter does this require
Iy says temperature control but i cant even figure how to set the chiller, i like my drnks ice cold ...it says meat , beverage, ect but i cant change temp...only in freezer anf fridge

Why would a refridgerator have WiFi? What is the purpose?
i think it will notify you if it has a problem, maybe change temperature, and let you know when you need to change filter but idk

@@ninerwill9970 Not bitter, totally gave honest experience, what have you got to add? Quoting other people doesn't give you much credence at all! FWIW, I got all my money back because I dealt with an honorable retailer that tried to service unit but could not, due to factory "rules".

Door in door is a crappy gimmick, and prone to air leaks... don't buy !!!
overall, how's the performance? any issues such as ice maker?
Mine worked ok, but I noticed the flimsy feeling, I would NOT buy again.

@@modernwize none of them, I went back to my old Whirlpool top freezer. These overpriced chinese made junk boxes are just that, overpriced junk that you can not get repaired within a reasonable amount of time and money.
