This track is so far ahead of its time it's not funny. I remember picking up the single at the merch table during the Hardwired Tour and I couldn't believe my ears when I popped the CD in my player on my way home. All hail producer Greg Reely for the vocal processing! Without Greg, FLA would've been a shadow of what they are now. He produced all their albums from Caustic Grip forward, except for Flavour of the Weak (he called that a mistake), and every Delerium album starting with Semantic Spaces and he produced/mixed a couple of Noise Unit albums too. For a while he was their front of house mixer as well for the FLA/Delerium tours, and I talked to him twice after the shows. He's a super nice guy and he actually let me help him pack up his processing gear at the FLA show in D.C.
@@RY30DM I had a one off Noise Unit tee shirt printed back in 1996 or 97 when websites doing that shit barely existed, I felt so futuristic at the time lol 👽🤖👽🤖
Gotta love those Timecop samples!!! Fuck, I got a speeding ticket listening to this in october 2004. 165km/h in a 90 zone. The officer approached and this was blaring out my my Saturn. He said "ok, i kinda get it" let me off with a 52 dollar ticket, no points. Since then i called it my driving song. Front Line always delivers!!!!!
I watched TimeCop last night, on Tubi. I recognized sound effects used in a song. I wakeup this morning, and realized/remembered, that it was FLA's Plasticity. It's been so many years since I last listened to this song. Such an awesome track, brings me back to the early 2000's, when I first heard it at a party.
The original version of this video (without the action clips, just the CGI and Bill and Rhys) won a MuchMusic Video Award in 1996. (They performed Millennium that year on the same as well.) I thought it had but I'd forgotten the year.
Yo tambien lo escuche en los 98 gracias a un amigo mayor amador de tecno industrial espectacular me conto que una vical tambienes la misma que ponen en timecop un filme de van dame s

Does it matter if they do? They posted it for us for easy access for those who do "understand".. (dont be claiming "self importance via brief understanding" (it means to us how it does.. things may hit harder in ways the band didn't expect, thus selling copies in unexpected ways.. dont be so ignorant..)

The most demonic-sounding FLA song. This is how demon disco in hell would sound like 💀 There is actually a stock sound 0:15, which also was used as sound for Unmaker in some Doom mods, I think that's why it feels so demonic for me.
I remember the video for this from a local cable-access show. From 2am theyd play all the obscure, requests and goid videos from big acts. Im curious, this was just a stand alone single? Not much write-up anywhere.
I actually remember being on FLA's website in the section where they're describing the music video, and it said something like "a very angry-looking Bill Leeb and Rhys looking somewhat stoned." :P
"Rhys, it's your turn to be in the video" "But I don't waaaaannaaaaaa..." "Okay look can you just sit still for like, 20 seconds, for one shot?" "Fiiiiiine.."
The best FLA song hands down.
It's really good, but Implode has some really good stuff.
One level for me with Provision
@@te9591fuck yeah it does! Implode is their masterwork!
This is more in the future than 2020 industrial. This kills it!

@@RY30DM It sounds a lot like 2000’s aggrotech/hellektro so it was certainly ahead of its time
Can't get any better than the prolific Bill Leeb. A musical genius since the 80's
A dancefloor favourite back in 1996 in Birmingham, England.

How much force and form does it take to fix the volatile? As much as is necessary. To be solid may be worth it.
