I’m a simple man. I see George Lynch. I click. I like. I go on with my day.
I'm not a musician, but good GOD I can appreciate his virtuosity and his passion. He's within my top 5 GOAT. (Greatest Of All Time). George freaking Lynch! ❤❤ when you get in the ZONE.
Well, as you already said, you're not a musician. George has become one of the sloppiest pro-guitarists out there. He really is pretty bad. In the last decades like on a drug trip. Something went wrong.
I can imagine how hot those tubes must be getting with georges tunings, the volume and the desert heat.
George Lynch is an amazing player and I agree with the comment made about him being true to what he feels and wants to play. That is a sign of a true artist.
For those who can't comprehend actual music and how George is expressing what is inside, where are your recordings and do you have a recording history and a loyal following. Learn, grow, experiment, and be musically expressive.
Go George!!!
Cool Telecaster and cool to see George rockin' on a Telecaster! Excelent Desert Rock!
His TECHNIQUE is FUKKING SCARY!!!!!!!!!! The MAN RULES
George, I love that your playing a tele., I like all of your guitars, but the tele. is such a classic guitar and you give it even more class!
Two years from now, my book " Why Lynch matters" will be available in fine book stores everywhere. Rock on.
I agree. It's not like Lynch just shreds through scale sequences and arpeggios - In a way - He IS playing the Blues...with wacked out intervals and a high level of technical proficiency.
far from a one trick pony, like so many other guitar heroes. This guy seems to be a master of anything he tries.
George is killing it in this vid!
Music to my ears...Love it...
Ahhhhh.... George lynch... the soul surfer of the guitar.
The new shred with awesome sweeping and arpeggios is pretty kool. But George always grabs your spirit with his choice of notes and his vibrato. He’s always been one of my main list too when I like to hear great tone and his single coil tone is just awesome.
George Lynch is a Heavy Metal Guitar BADASS!!! Just WOW all the time.
Outstanding!
He truly knows how to get in the zone and let it fly. I like the abandon aspect of his style. Nice!
I love the phrase " abandon aspect "..congratulations.
Shred with style!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something these younger speed demon guitarist should take notes of!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys commenting on the "amps in the sun" know that it is not always hot in the desert. Hint: He's wearing a jacket.
man that was bad ass! i bow down to george!
I think that a lot of the new shredders out there should cut on the sweeping, and take notes from George regarding note choices, vibrato, and attitude in playing.
George Lynch really rocks !... :) (y)
This is proof that this master still has ability to shred with the best of them. Hell...he IS the best!
FACTS 💯🤘
Great record
Killer Tele and player
Rockin with the rocks....
This man brought tallent tothe table
When you're so good you don't even need a drummer a bass player or even a singer
LYNCH RULES MR. SCARY in the DESERT on a TELE . This is unconventional for mostr Shredders, cause the Tele Bridge pick ups resistance is around 7.5ks. The Screamin Desmon(Syemour)(Georges Signature pick up) is approx. 10.8 ks paf like. Still, what cool about lower resistance pick ups is the fact that it is a lot more transparent, and his Guitars tone, and finger nuances are expressed in a very dynamic way. Excellent TONE George you are the MAN!!
I looked up Badass in the dictionary and there was a photo of George Lynch.
It's dirty and perfect at the same time, like desert.
I drove near Gamma Gulch last month and it is way out there. I didn't drive into the neighborhood because it's a dirt road, and I didn't want to get shot.
The best reverb ever.
1:20 Always wondered how he played that lick.
lynch and marino always get me !!!!
Very Cool hidden secrets ....very nice George !!
I cannot stop watching George on this clip, The beginning you hear him playing, and not the backing track music he is listening too . Then at 1:34 you hear the full track, and you can see how deadly precise he is when you piece it together. George has it down!! Man can this Guy fucking wail. He can do it all as far as I'm convinced, and (on a good ole Fender USA TELE maple neck. BTW, did anyone see the George Lynch personally owned Tele for sale on E-Bay?(A lot of money fer sure) 10/6/10
Awesome!
GL in the desert jammin.
monstrous hands... and tone.
That move to the desert was a good one.
Keep it up George.
AWESOME!!
this is fucking amazing!
Dude!
This is the real George Lynch. Accurate and clean, with intense feel, a nice dose of darkness and evil occasionally, and innovative playing characterized by his use of intervals, legato technique, harmonics, vibrato, tone and picking. His songwriting does seem a bit restrictive of his playing at times. Maybe bad habits carried over from his Dokken days.
This explains why I hear birds sometimes on his CD's.
Damn! That's intense!
Badass!
Tone meister
he wants to bring life to the desert
@GORDITO1000 It's actually an ESP....I just saw him perform live with it last night.
@WillyDerFrosch
LMAO wish I could thumb that up a milion times....made my day.
peace of mind,
it means your mind is at peace.
George still has it! Love the backwards Coca Cola T-shirt (in Thai)- did you put it on inside out?
@alexarkin
Thanks for the info bro. I think a Tele is one of my next snags :-)
which tele model is George using? I just saw lynch mob in Vancouver and it was like heaven hearing lynch play it!
sounds like he is using 9 gauge strings or maybe 8s.
How much loss in those looooong speaker cables!?
Is he playing a Ron Wood signature??
What is the definition of badass?
:
@playloud247
All the champions hear what you hear also.
How did he deal with long speaker cable runs from the heads to the speaker cabs?
does anyone know the song being played when this vid starts? sounds heavy and badass, what lynch song is it?
Why are the amps in the sun? won't the heat damage them?
@brianwurst1234 ...on which track(s) have you heard birds?
is he wearing a sweater in the desert?
Probably early am, gets cold at night in the desert
Este video y su rudimentaria tecnica ruidosa son la polla , por mucho que digan y digan lo que digan por aqui ... el sonido es cojonudo y punto.
anything but stiff man - listen to EVH, Demartini, and Lynch their playing swings and always has a sexy rhythm underneath - and is tied to the blues in some way.
George, you are a fuckin animal in extinction !! every day I try to get something out of your technique but it's impossible man..
I agree with you on Lynch - Reb Beach and Lynch are two of my favs from the 80's. But I disagree on your views regarding Vai: he is a phenom of a player whose physical ability is matched by his musical intellect. His gear is irrelevant, he makes great music with it.
@mikebels559 takes practice otherwise i agree
G.L. will be wearing diapers in a convalescent hospital and still rocking. Toungus Grumph and his "smokin' notes"
hahahahaha you are the shit man!!!!!!
@jgrahamwireless Eddie is still as amazing, I don't compare though, personally I love both bands too much(Dokken & Van Halen)
0:47-1:10 lynch's alive
ESP or Fender ?
racecar06 it's a esp custom shop tele they made for him
2:12
@WillyDerFrosch im pretty sure its a coca-cola t shirt
Can anyone PM me and tell me more about that Telecaster, 50's, 60's or 70's?
THANKS in advance!
Funny!!!!
Ah , y por otro lado, si pudiera yo tener una casa en el desierto.... no se , seria la hostia, por mucho que se joda quien se joda ... jaja.
@brianwurst1234 im not huge fan your not serious r u??
The more I watch this, the more I realize I SUCK at the Guitar!!! GL RULES!!!!
phallystorm Me too Brother. Lol!
Yep
I wish the hell PG would quit putting such a big logo right where the player's hands are! Make it smaller and top left it where nothing usually ever is please lol!!! Seriously that big? I know I know "That's what she said!" Lol!!!
Paul Gilbert has nothing to do with the Recording
@@phallystorm he's talking about premier guitar, the channel we are watching this on.
@@angadgianirogers1844 Iknow. I was kidding.I could have said Procter & Gamble
hahahahaahhahah
A tele? George could have a cheapo guitar and ill sound kick ass
lets see you do better
He could have the crappiest guitar and it will sound like him,not that he owns crap guitars
Gotta be a joke.
