      We defeated the guards, have the belltower and there is no reclaiming party. Its constantly under "rebellion". The Tax collector Brigands were not killed by bandits, because we cleared out all the camps already, it was pretty hard. The town is still in rebellion. Now we have an 8 men Big Birgand Party coming which is undefeatable to us. If they enter town, they despawn and the quest fails. You dont show how the reclaim party looks, where they are coming from and how they are named on map. Also you fight them in the town of Hearndean. I can't reproduce that, please elaborate, what am i missing?

      Hey man! Let's see if we can't figure this out together.
      I recall reading on discussion posts the Liberation aspect being broken sometimes if you do things out of order - in the video, I believe I went the path the game devs intended. The Reclamation party was Combat #2 in the video, they also had 8 brigands for me as well and I had to reload at least 30+ times, I was very not prepared. I saved RIGHT before the conflict started too so I can mix/max my time spent trying. The Reclamation party spawned from the Big Hold (Tier IV zone) and walks by the Wheat Fields then north of Padstow.
      I waited two in-game days of the party travelling on foot and met them right before they entered Haerndean! If I managed to de-aggro them, they would mach ten run into the town and do that quest fail part as well.
      Are you at Protector standing with Haerndean? If not, there's a good chance you can't liberate without getting to that rank.

      @@OfficialDlonem I just retried, we are Protector rank and just progressed a rank higher even, without liberating, by building these neutral village buildings (herb garden etc), we let the "Brigands Big Patrol Party" which spawns after defeating the Tax Party of 3 People reach Heardean. They will destroy the belltower and reset the liberation and status goes to occupied by brigands again. Even if you kill some of them. Then they just march back to the big Brigand HQ in the south.

    I remember the exact story with my first liberation, good job. Definitely you should mention that after liberation you are able to trade with the liberated village by selection a village from the map, then select trading tab next to overview tab and ready to trade for gold or barter for your resources. Also very impartant thing is that after liberation you are able to higher specialize villagers with professions like a farmer, a carpenter, a healer, a woodsman, a blacksmith, an innkeeper and other who are needed for certain research with requirements for such professions.

    • @OfficialDlonem
      @OfficialDlonem  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, this is all 100% correct! NY initial thought with liberation is you would be able to draft any villagers to your settlement for free, etc.
      Basically, I was looking for it to unlock basically another settlement for you

    don't know if he mentions it but when your people go down they respawn at base with an injured icon.. if they go down again they might die so be weary.

    are there any more liberation armies comming later ?
    i remmmember that after doing the first quest but before building the tower there waere TAX collectors comming all the time and one reclamation army after the bell was done, but nothing so far after, it feels too peacefull now
    btw after liberation you get option to trade from the map village menu, and you can build some houses (have to research them)

    • @OfficialDlonem
      @OfficialDlonem  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My tax collector army just DIPPED, maybe because I finished bell tower in time?
      It doesn't seem like it! Well, the more hostility you incur with the Brigand faction, I feel like that'll increase the chance they'll eventually send a party to you / village

  • @seandowdy3847

    I didnt see the very end due to spoilers until now, nice editing tho cuz I was thinking I hope I'm not the only one who had to save reload from 14 different points in time. The brigands actually got all the way up and disappeared several times ( or walked off lol). Had to get the sweet spot up above where the archers couldn't hit us. First time I did this part I had a time with only 5 ppl in my squad cuz I thought the town was gonna do something and help...got mowed over. Thanks for the tips!!

      I do see discussions on steam about going "out of order" can result in bugs; in the video, following the quest and progression the game lays out for you is the best way to avoid liberation bugs currently! Down the road, I can absolutely see you being able to take on the Brigands

    Question: in regards to your companions. Did they all come from one town or multiple? And what kind of gear did you have them in, I'm thinking of trying this one they all have at least short swords.
    Or should I equip them with T2 gear belt trying

    • @OfficialDlonem
      @OfficialDlonem  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Multiple towns! I would "shop" for better companions at times. I would highly recommend waiting for T2 armor, don't forget the liberation part is literally the "end game" (to a degree), you don't wanna piss off the boss before your place is ready! I think some of them had axes that ignore some armor?

    Does blunt damage have more effectiveness against the Brigands with their armor? Looks like you did far more damage with that warhammer than the sword.

    • @OfficialDlonem

    I am still trying to figure out if stamina foods affect the companions or if it is only the HP section of the food that is important for the companions.
    I am using smoked fish, fish stem and fine stew for the -30% hunger debuff, 20% exp gain and 20% combat proffeciency. But those foods take a long time to make and rots quite fast. :/ and seems like smoked meats give better HP overall, but does not come with the buffs.

    • @OfficialDlonem
      @OfficialDlonem  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel like they do impact Companions, but overall HP > Stamina for the fighters just because staying alive is paramount

      use the warhammers they bypass armor and they do way more damage compared to swords since brigands have a ton of armor. all my front liners use warhammers and shields and they eat them up

      Realistically, aim for Tier 2 gear. Liberation is supposed to essentially signify the beginning of the end, so by logic, that would be Tier 2 / Tier 3 content you're trying to do!
