For years in my rack system I’ve been using an old Bradshaw switcher - but the temptation to switch to the RJM has been huge. The ease of use seems fantastic.
I was using a Voodoolab Ground Controller, i switched over to a RJM Mastermind GT22, it has changed the world for me, i play +- 35 gigs a year and everything became so much easier. Definitly worth every penny!
Haha yeah the Brian Adams “Run To You” clean tone. Bunch of chorus and super crompessed…shit, I still love those old Brian Adams albums, Keith Scott’s leads were super tasty
That vintage Les Paul is the elephant in the room right now what year is it The Muffuletta is probably green because of the green olive spread used on the sandwiches :)
Why do you use four 4x12 horizontal? Is that for a stereo effect with the Strymon Deco? Is there any kind of pitch shifting like the Eventide Micropitch?
He actually uses a Strymon Iridium on his solo gigs. At that level, rockstars can do whatever they want and modelers good sound never compare to loud amps on stage.
In a nutshell the board actually switches all of the pedals on and leaves them on all time. When Shifty stomps on just one of the footswitches he and his tech have already pre-programed it to switch or "tell" all the pedals he doesn't need for that particular sound he's needing at that moment. The advantage of doing it this way is he can dial in widely different sounds which might mean the sound changing from several pedals in use being taken out and replaced by any number of totally different ones.

Tone Tweaks Made Easy: Beginner's Guide to Tubes is this video on youtube ?
Gotta Love; “Shifty” so laid back, so cool and humble, Always. Tremendous Artist and Guitarist.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍
Jake Jackson forever
I want to see a full band rig rundown. I want to see what Pat is running.
There are links right under the Premier Guitar logo underneath the video title. I thought I had seen the full rig rundown before this. :)
Pat probably doesn’t know what he’s running
The band was better off without Pat as a 4 piece tbh
@@flouresc Pat was the OG guy. I'm glad he came back. And he added a lot to the wasting light album. I also grew up listening to the Germs.
@@Doodlebug1996 I know but his playing in the band boring AF.. most of the time just standing there. Chris has the skills to carry the band.
Chris is such an awesome guy... so grounded and humble.
Good ol' Chris

@ My Floyd act usually does about 60 a year so I know it would be a wonderful investment…. Of course, re wiring the whole rack is a bit daunting.

Shifty is such cool and humble dude. He’s all of us, except he plays for 50,000 people every night.
That particular Friedman sounds lovely
We need Friedman to take a gander at McCready & Gossard's boards and rigs, just to be safe.
Thanks for this ❤

I want to know more about it too!!!
It's a 57 gold top that someone refinished
@@BostonGuitarDBhe talked about it in his rig rundown from 2022!

Are they still touring? Or was this before the whole Dave thing with the baby?
It was recorded in July before they finished the tour, yes
@ cheers dawg
Whats this talk about them changing up the setlists? They never do lol
Where's the full vax pedal?
Had no idea Haley Joel osment was in the foo fighters
And Bruce Willys with tattoos
intervewing him…
use a helix or tonex much easier, and will sound just as good to the audience
For you and me that’s true. For him he doesn’t need to think about that ;)
The audience? I use friedmans for my own ears, i don’t care what the audience thinks.
I’m guessing he feels the same
No one wants a digital amp you poser
Not when he has Friedman on speed dial.
He actually uses a Strymon Iridium on his solo gigs. At that level, rockstars can do whatever they want and modelers good sound never compare to loud amps on stage.
Freemasons are overrated.
Ok and? Lok
Who is Freemason? Shiftlet? Premier guitar guy? Do you mean Friedman overrated? Foo fighters overrated?

How does a board like this work? I’ve always used pedals.
Loop switchers
