Puerto Rico....my fav place, been there like 20+ times. Raices (pronounced Rae-esis), one of the most popular restaurants in Pr. Great food.....Metropol is also a really good one. Hit up Pinones, an area near Isla Verde. They had GREAT street food and it's on the beach. Enjoy

QUESTION- Taking my son (24) on Mardi Gras for my 60th birthday in 2023, thinking about doing a back to back cruise. Do you feel there is enough to do and places to eat to spend 14 days on the ship. It does a Eastern and then Western trip.
Thank you so much! Mardi Gras is perfect for back to back because it rotates west and eastern ports and yes there are 22 places to eat I believe. We felt like 7 days was not enough, thats why we are going back on our group cruise in July.

Sí, no tienen máquinas de café en las habitaciones. Puedes pedir que te lo lleven a tu habitación o hay cafeterías abiertas por la mañana. Richard también disfruta del café por la mañana.

Yes it was like a 10 min walk, it is slightly uphill tho

If it’s a sea day then brunch is the dining room is the absolute best. Shaq big chicken has breakfast sandwiches. All carnival ships have the blue iguana cantina that has amazing breakfast bowls and burritos. Then there is always the buffet

Yes they didn’t disturb any visitors, it was the first ship there in like 18 months so most of them were very happy to see visitors

Truth be told PR wasnt my favorite port. To me beyond walking and shopping there wasnt much to do. The tour we took was lackluster.

That must have been the same restaurant we went to years ago. We waited so long long for our food. And when we got it, it was not good at all. I love Spanish food and I’m from New York. That was the worst Spanish no taste food I ever ate.
Yes we are from NYC and the Spanish food options really spoil you.
