    Vincent D’Onofrio is a great actor but Chin Gigante was 35 in 1963. D’Onofrio is 62. It would have added to the tension more having this younger Italian rising star challenging the older Johnson after his release from prison.

      In real life, not this movie stuff King was risking his life marching down South in the very heart of KKK country. Malcom was able to talk tough and slick because he was safe ( at least from the white man) up North in Harlem.
      They passed Civil Rights laws because of the pressure King and other OG’s put on America’s politicians.
      Malcolm tried to put together a deal with the American Nazi party of all people.
      They were both outstanding men but King was on another…. higher and more effective level for our people than X.

      About a year before he died, King started to shift his ideology to more like Malcolm's. He realized that we need to support each other. When we had segregation, we HAD to support each other because we had no choice. But then you had more Black business owners too. A dollar stayed in our community longer than it does now.

    The Chin was in jail during this period. This show is entertaining but unrealistic to the 10th degree. Chaz plays Joe with a Bronx accent. Joe had a thick Italian accent. Ill just chalk this up to a multiverse version of BJ's life lol.
