3:55 PLEASE, please, please. Never use metal utensils on an non-stick pan! Even a relatively light whisk will totally ruin it in a very short time. I've got some more than 10 years old. Still looking like new, so it is absolutely possible to keep them in tip top shape. ;-) I'm cringing on that, but loving the carnivore rice tip! 🙂 PS: 6:25 I rest my case that expensive pan is pretty much gone in what non-stick is involved. All that stuck/stick egg is a tell tale.

Yes, I agree that credit should always be given and I do give credit whenever I am inspired by someone's recipe. I originally posted this rice recipe in my book Keto Instant Pot in 2018. Used it again in my Restaurant Favorites and Protein Sparing Modified Fast Method books 3-4 years ago. :)
I have ignored your "rice" recipe so long because I thought it was made only with egg whites and didn't want "scrambled eggs" as a rice substitute. Now I've got to try this! Wondering if egg white powder would work, and also thinking about a Mexican rice dish.
The word spatula derives from the Latin word for a flat piece of wood. So I think the flat things are spatulas and the curved things (despite marketing) are cooking spoons😊

But I’m working through changing my old hsbits around volume addiction with eating handfulls of individual pellet-like foods like nuts, seeds, dry fruit, grains - all considered “healthy” but actually poisonous with plant toxins and more so at volume. My habit was to reach for that after dinner and not stop til it was gone. Or sub dinner for that. It was awful and I’m paying the price now oxalate dumping extremely 4th month nom-stop, almost a year carnivore hooray so many benefits overall. I’m looking for pellet-like food taste. Pork rinds are triggering binge-eating behavior. Egg whites cooked with gelatin, refrigerated and broken up could be it! Thank you!
Hello. To help out with the spatula dilemma, the one that you used to cook the eggs with is called a “fish slice”. At least that is what they call it in England. I hope this helps out. 😃

Great recipe! I cringe every time the metal whisk touches your expensive non-stick pan. Please, non scratching utensils only (wood, silicone etc) when using non-stick!
