Had a similar experience. Glad to see someone paint the whole tank. I just did the camo and tracks. Felt very good to use and was lightning fast. Cheers!
I have to say that every video I've seen has impressed with these. What persuaded me to order a set is the range of colours. I think they will be really useful, particularly aircraft interiors and detail parts.
Thx for the review. I think anything that speeds up painting is good. 👍🏻 The greater control with pens definitely allows you to do interesting things. 🤔
Awesome stuff Alex! Thanks for doing this. I also bought the LED magnifying glasses you recommend. They also work awesome. Have a great day Brother and thanks for everything you do!
Thanks for a really useful review. They look as though they will be really useful for camo schemes on larger vehicles as an alternative to an airbrush and so save having to mask up. Do you think they would work with cross belts and facings on 28mm Napoleonics?
Cheers, glad it was helpful. I think they are definitely designed with larger scale modelling in mind, but I think they'd work on 28mm crossbelts. Anything smaller may be a struggle though.
Alex, how would you rate the control the user has over the flow/amount of paint being released by the pens? And, if there is no control, how would you characterize the flow/amount released? I guess I should have reversed these questions. 🙂
Do they do a pack for human skin tones ( I still remember the infamous "Flesh" Humbro enamel . Ive been leaving pilots out , cos I haven't got the skills to paint them
Seems kind of pointless, but I guess if you don't want to use a brush or can't for some physical reason they work. Interested in seeing more of the chipping effect on armor.
question, do yo think they would be precise enough to use on 10MM napoleonics for picking out straps and leather bits, or are the ends too thick for such fine detail?
Careful you may have other youtubers come after you for not being an old school wargamer because you have a sponsored video and want to get something for your time in making a video. 🤣🤣🤣

Cheers, yes they are very easy and nice to use.
I bought the whole set and agree - they work great. I am painting 6mm GHQ vehicles and I wish the points were a little finer, but overall impressed.
They would be good for 6mm tanks, I bet!

Totally agree!

Cheers buddy! I'm glad the glasses are working out for you!
Thank you for the nice report!
Thank you!
Thanks Alex - I can’t wait until I get some myself 😊
Cheers, they are very good.
That looked dead easy to do the camo pattern. I may have to give them a try.
It really is, much easier and quicker than a brush
Definitely will get their full set. Will hopefully make smashing out my Naps a lot quicker
You should they are a good buy.
Thanks for the review. It looks to me like base coating will still be better done with a rattle can or airbrush.
Great review👍....and ideal for me to use, for touching up paint chipping on my miniatures....as im too scared to spray varnish 😂
Cheers, they are well worth the money, IMO
Very interesting. That interior set is made up of 3 very useful generic colours as well.
Indeed!
Where were these wonderful products 30 years ago?!
I love the RC pens I bought the big box great review alex
Awesome thank you!
They seem to be fantastic - i could even paint tanks at work :).
Absolutely!
@@StormofSteelWargaming just ordered some to try, must be popular as loads of the range is out of stock already in multiple stores :)
Ingenious
Nah. I think I have more control and go faster with cans and brushes. I can pick the colours and mix the way I prefer. Thanks for the review.
I was just wondering whether they were any good ....well, I've now got the answer and I'll give it a try soon 🙂

that's groovy
👍
That's so weird I was literally looking at those 3 sets the other day
Swans!!!
Very interesting, I'd not seen anything of these.
Cheers Tim, well, now you have

There's a quite a lot of control, tbh, like any pen really.
@@StormofSteelWargaming Great! Thanks, Alex.
lovely printed model. where was it from directly? thnx for the review of the markers..vry helpful.
Thank you, Paul at Sabotag3d printed it for me.

I'm not sure, you should check their website.
SWANS shurt is 🔥

Then they're not pointless are they? LOL
It's a shame the pens for the cammo patterns don't come as a base set and a highlight set .
Maybe there will be in future
Would it work on plastic kits 1/72 for details like tools on tanks?
Yep, there is a tool set

Answer, they might be a bit thick for 10mm stuff tbh.
@@StormofSteelWargaming thought as much. shame as the hands are getting shakey as I age lol.
Interesting.
Cost?
Thanks for the great video!
Cheers, it depends on the set, between £5 for three and about £60 for a bigger set
Careful you may have other youtubers come after you for not being an old school wargamer because you have a sponsored video and want to get something for your time in making a video. 🤣🤣🤣
LOL, I'd best keep my head below the parapet...
I''m guessing they would work with 10mm??
I don't see why not, at least with adding large blocks of uniform colours.
@@StormofSteelWargaming ok thanks, that is what I was guessing.
are these only available via Spain?
No. Worldwide.
@StormofSteelWargaming where in UK can i order these, postage from Spain is prohibitive

What's the model scale? 144 or 100?
1/100
Great video it would be interesting to find out how long thay last with a 28 mil stuff 🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍
Cheers!
I don't get it...
They are pens which you paint with. Is that clearer?
