      Thanks for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (probably on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for building better sheds and woodworking minus the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy after many years got astronomical success with it.

    Great job. Looks the business. Exactly what I'm looking to achieve this summer. For 1200 or so it makes sense considering the price of normal steel or timber sheds. Did you need to install a gutter?

    • @gibbopaul66
      @gibbopaul66  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes mate I did put guttering on

  • @Dan-ey4mi
    @Dan-ey4mi 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Good job mate, you may not of recorded it but did you allow ventilation in the roofing, so not to suffer condensation, you may need to build a subfloor and add vents there too. Also you need like 6 inch minimum over hang on your roof so the rain water doesn't cause damp issues on your building .
    I can see your roof angle is towards the fence , that side of your wall will get damp issues, add guttering to control the flow of water.
    You can also get damp proof paint for external walls, would be useful for the back wall against the fence .
    I may of missed it, did you lay damp proof layer on your 2 or 3rd course of brick? That would stop damp rising into your walls.

      Think he may just be pointing out some sensible ideas mark.

    • @geoffwood6044
      @geoffwood6044 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe it`s the way you interpreted it Mark, to me it seems he was merely asking a couple of questions, for me I would question the placement of the shed, very close to the boundary, pretty sure it`s meant to be 1 metre (don`t quote me), also a brick/block building needs regs as it`s deemed a permanent outbuilding, I would hate that some jealous neighbour (or general ass) would complain to the council. The only reason i`m pointing these things out is ive been there and made the same mistakes, mainly regarding the boundary and the electrics (some Part P bullshit), I managed to by-pass the Part P shit but running armoured cable to a switched plug (generally an extension lead). I don`t have a superiority complex in case you wondered lol.

      @@gibbopaul66 hi enjoyed watching I've had somthing similarly built but havent got the rendering done yet due to the lock down but have since got a quote for
      £1000.
      So was going to do it myself hence why I'm watching all these videos,
      You make it look easy enough for a women to manage 😁
      Not...
      So I was thinking that if I was to leave the rendering and get exterior plastic or wood toung and groove to cover blocks would that be ok?
      Or do the blocks have to be rendered???
      Please advise
      The grey blocks are the really heavy ones that was used.
