BEST instructional video I have ever seen. Bought the bearing kits and some other new axle parts but had no instructions on the order of assembly

Only in Montana, could you put together a Scout service guide. Not sure if you guys are aware, weve not seen one of these in decades, except for the one, that some guy down the road, bought and drove home from Montana !

Do the scout ll and terra have the same axels? Meaning they can be used on either? Thanks

Possibly, the Dana book does not show a separate Terra listing. I would assume most components would be the same as a normal Scout II.

Why? It's not an instragram model. Looks like the video is very well lit to me.

Sorry... but at "18:30"... did you seriously not even bother or care about cleaning it up or even coming anywhere close to it with a wire wheel? How about when something looks like shit... clean it, wire wheel it, soak it in phos, rinse and dry, and... PAINT IT. You know... like you cared.

You mean in the disassembly process? Never, all parts are cleaned after disassembly unless there is excessive oil or grease which inhibits safe handling/creating a bigger mess or in the case of these ball joints at 18:30 using a pick to remove debris that may cause tool damage as demonstrated at 16:37 .
All parts go through a parts washer cabinet before reassembly. Many parts for customer vehicles do get a coat of paint and spiffier clean up, but for these simple service videos we only prep them at the minimum required to do the job correctly, as would most viewers and almost every repair shop. Paint and wire wheel is optional in most cases and up to the end user how fancy they want to get beyond critical mating surface prep.
