I bought a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat about 3 months ago and just bought a 2021 Dodge Charger HellCat Anniversary edition last week. So far, so good with both. If you're concerned about it, add the $2,000 extended warranty to it and keep it going.
@SwellHemi I sold my Charger. Still have my Hellcat Durango. I have a Jailbreak scheduled for delivery next month but these gas prices have me second guessing myself
Awesome buy pre-owned make sure you have a clean CarFax report, make sure its stock. Tires are good and decent for the year. Dodge Challengers HellCats, Dodge Charger Hellcats can easily last 300k with rountine maintenance not doing stupid stuff to them. Future Classic!
Thank you for the continued fantastic videos. I love the hellcat engines in all the platforms Mopar offers. Would love to see more of your TRX, that truck is bad!!!
Well from what I looked up the 2016 Hellcats aren’t that reliable. A 2015 would be a better option, as it was ranked #1 out of 9 performance cars with 8.6/10 and got 5 stars for reliability. No other model year of Hellcat got that high of a reliability rating :)
@@christopherbassit2757 Nevermind I misjudged this. The 2016 Hellcat actually has the best reliability ranking out of all the model years so far. What made it score slightly lower than the 2015 Hellcat is it’s driving experience :)
I would have to say _"NO!"_ at this point... With both the Challenger and Charger now being discontinued, there are going to be far too many mark-ups on the performance models in good condition, while the ones that are drastically lower in price are apt to be street beat or even have damage history from an accident... There's just too much to go wrong on these cars, and to repair and maintain them properly within any remaining warranty guidelines will almost certainly require the work done at a dealer or factory shop! Parts can be expensive, and often fail prematurely due to being pushed too hard! If you're going to spend that kind of money on something pre-driven and/or discontinued, sock away a few more bucks and invest in an old restored or restomoded classic 50 year old Challenger, Charger, or 'Cuda! Forget about the later ones!
Not to dis' ya, but I have a 2020 Mustang GT with the 5.0. I don't drive like a grandpa and I get 18 mpg around town and 28 mpg on trips. I don't know what's up with the low mpg of the Mustang GT you mentioned in the video?
Too bad one has to suffer horrible gas mileage to get the speed, looks, sounds, and daily drivability of the Hellcat. I would settle for the speed and economy of a Tesla 3 performance.

@Justen G why does it sound stupid?
@Justen G to each their own
@SwellHemi made me happy until gas prices went to $5.20 a gallon.

@SwellHemi I don’t like owning it and not driving it. lol

Bro you’re the first to say last 300K 😅😅😅 is that if you keep it stock ? And also I agree buying stock is first step.

Buying used modern car is always a bad idea. But I can't say same for buying 70 model charger. Old is gold
U could technically make it faster than the hellcat anyway if u know what your doing
previous owner clearly wasnt the best driver with the scraped up front lip anmd the curb rash on the wheels
Great video Ben this car looks great
Do more chargers pls
I love the Jeep Dodge Ram Supercharger!
That’s not even a car stupid
@@dylanwagemans7718 I'm pretty sure they're referring to the supercharged engine that's available in those 3 brands
Yeah, I’m not allowed to drive one of these :(
I don’t know how you didn’t run out of gas?!😂
Hahaha
I think whatever car your want and you can pay for him its a good deal
Awesome dodge hell cat

@@BenHardyCars dude just say the price lol is it that hard? Are you that lazy?
Yo bro just look on the website bro its not that hard bro I promise bro!!
@@demiurgeobzen327 bro?
Only with low low low miles
Are those stock 315s or did the owner get replicas?
Rep
Good video but the car only had 25k miles that car wasn't really driven. More than likely you will find one with 75k or more.
25k abused miles is like 100k miles actually

I've seen plenty of Challenger convertibles, except careless drivers and the Fire Department's Jaws of Life were involved.
Cool commercial bro…
2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey Edition!
