The reason they say to gamble the most on the first night, is that the casino host will watch who the gamblers are for the first night or two, when deciding what comps to give. On my last cruise, They sent me flowers to my cabin by night 2, a plate of chocolates night 4, and a bottle of wine night 5. On night 3, I spoke to the casino host, and was comped for 2 dinners at specialty dining. I did continue to play at the casino throughout our 7 day voyage. By the end of the cruise, I received a letter with a free mini-suite cruise up to 10 days.
@@cdhettefajardo7534 $300 is a bit low... unless you win! So it is possible. We cruise Princess. Sister usually brings $400-$800 for a 7 days, and can play enough to get an inside cabin. it all depends on the host and how lucky you are. I'd recommend talking to the host before you gamble.
We played the last time we cruised on RC. We don’t gamble on land, but my husband and I found it a lot of fun. I won $648 on a $5.88 bet on Dancing Drums. We continued to play everyday we weren’t in port. We ended $200 up plus we received $100 voucher toward a future cruise. I’d love to hear wins/tips/strategies for game play. Also, I would love to hear about cruise program benefits.
I cruise almost exclusively Carnival on casino deals. I found out on this last cruise that even if you just have free drinks while playing in the casino. They will give you as many free drinks as you like at the casino bar. It worked at both casinos on the Carnival Magic. We also always tip.
I lost everything pretty much first night and then second night, real late, I hit a hand pay jackpot and got all my money back. Got a bottle of wine sent to us for dinner and by the time our cruise was over, everything was done and spent. Be prepared to walk away when you are up. ELATION October 2022.
The trick is the servers in the casino r usually the same. Just need to get their attention by tipping them $5 , they’ll be on you like a bee on honey comb.
If you really like to drink, the trick is get one of the other offers with drinks everywhere. There is always a bar where you can get a relatively quick drink. The servers in the casino are usually slow (except when you don't feel like a drink). lol
Slot machines odds are random. They are random on every play. Random. Time of day does not matter. Day of week does not matter. They are random. Random... Random....
Hi! You just use your sail and sign card on carnival. That’s also how you get money out of the machine… there are no paper tickets. It all goes into your player bank.
We haven't done much gambling on our past cruises, but I do think we will throw a little money down on our next one. What is the Adventures Ahead recommended game to play for the money?
We are on a Princess cruise soon. We got a lot of on board credit (OBC) $500 to $600 on this cruise. Is there a way I can use OBC to buy chips then play a little bit and cash out for cash? My goal is to cash out my OBC? Will this work?
likely they will give you promo/comp chips that have the be run through a game, you will have to play them all and any winnings will be in regular chips you can cash out. So you will likely walk away with less than your OBC
@@howitreallyiz I cruise on some of the older ships out of Tampa and they just give you cash if you tell them you play slots. I get $1000 cash usually, sometimes $500. But I always book the cruises with the most cash first. I have 12 more booked through december. Already did 4 this year. More to come.

Thank you for the tips! That totally makes sense. We will try that on the next cruise! Thanks for watching!
But how much did you gamble tho? If im planning to just gamble $300 would the host give me some comps?

I love your shirt Josh.
Can't wait till the next season comes out.
Can you use onboard credit in casino? Also on carnival cruise can you use cruise cash that can be purchased or gifted to you in casino?
Yes ...not sure about the 2nd part
@@TheNESevolution thank you. I appreciate it

Yes. Tips get good service!

Which slots do you play? Do you have a favorite?
I can’t wait to cruise on our June cruise!!
does the casino have a players card like land casinos or do you use your sail and sign card

Craps table? Fun on a ship vs. traditional casino?
We don’t really do the craps table... it always looks fun though no matter land or sea
defs more fun, it's holiday gamblers more than lifestyle gamblers who will be cheering you on
Depends. Lower mins means less experienced and more players. Pretty crowded too.

Weeeeeeellll LOL we like most slots but I really like the wonder four tall fortunes and lock it link
@@TheNESevolution Then we shall try that!
I specifically like piggy bank lock it link 👍🏻
Good luck!
Do they give free lanyards, deck of cards? I've read online they do but never asked them
They get lanyards for free but no longer give out free decks of cards at guest services.
