i dont think people understand that them not rating tidal wave because it was verified on 360 is extremely dumb. I mean so many levels verified with the same settings were rated because bypass was needed to make sure that gd wouldn't be a pay to win game. Both onilink and zoink spent so much time on it and honestly just rating the level would've made the community happier and stopped so much drama.
I don’t really get why that would be a reason not to rate it anyway. Weren’t Acheron, Slaughterhouse, and others also verified on 360? How come they got rated? Not rating Tidal Wave for that reason is just stupid. Also it was verified in 2.1, so there’s no way 360 should have been considered cheating when it was verified.
@@greenmcbean6429 yeah, like if he had a 360 hz monitor he could’ve done the same without bypass and there would be no problem. I understand if this was 2.2 with physics bypass but this is a completely different thing.

Robtop is not going to rate it. And if the community keeps complaining about it he’ll probably just end Geometry Dash altogether by deleting the app off of all platforms and shutting down the servers
It's not a terrible level and deserves the rate at the least, but if gd players can harass robtop into rating a level then it sets a bar example

It is visually fine, with an ok gameplay and with enough decoration and ok dificulty for rate.
Maybe not for freatured, but way enough for the minimal rating.
I will be patiently waiting for a time when there is no controversy.....

I loved Celestia. Man I hope the creator is doing fine. Lvl was a great first hard demon. Maybe free but it's design was insanely good for 8500 objects.

cherryteam is handling the tidal wave remake the best they possibly could, theyre even making an optimized version of onilink's decoration, so why are they getting so much hate?

because cherryteam did some pretty problematic things in the past like putting a "advyin" in KOCMOC or "Child P*rn" in another level for the sake of "humour" i guess

Now we have a very cool but inconsistent Tidal Wave, and Cherry comes to remake it into a masterpiece, and people get mad about it lol

He said that the barrier of entry for a Top 1 needs to be higher, because they get so popular, so a bunch of effortless top 1s aren't constantly spammed
Tidal eave is good, but very unpolished
I disagree entirely, a top one is based on skill a lot of the time more than decoration, but even then, tidal wave has far more unique decoration, despite being unpolished, than many other top ones. And top ones aren’t “spammed,” they take an eternity to verify. And spending that much time trying to verify a level just for it to not get rated is terrible. Many old levels that finally get verified now get rated just because of the accomplishment, even if boring with old decoration. A top one being “bad” shouldn’t exclude it from being a top one. As decoration and gameplay aren’t what makes a level a top one, it is purely the difficulty. Though I do believe a top one has to be a level with decoration, it shouldn’t have to be god tier amazing.

The Geometry Dash in VR thing is actually a roblox game, called Polydash. It's playable in VR and Desktop mode.
It's honestly sad that the hard demon "Celestia" got to this point. I really liked that level, and the creator of the level actually requested it on my stream, and i was so sad to see that. I don't know what happened but i hope everything will be alright.

The remake looks really beautiful already, I hope they don't have any of the layering issues in classic tidal wave - since it has the potential to get rated with optimised deco and no layering issues
The VR GD game from the clip is a Roblox game called 'Poly Dash' and has the levels Stereo Madness - Electrodynamix, an incomplete Blast Processing, The Nightmare, and some other levels. The game has an icon kit (quite small currently) and a level editor is coming soon (apparently).

Upon hearing about Celestia becoming a Free Demon, I had to check out what the level originally was, so I found an Auto Version which I Removed the auto and beat it in 296 Attempts. it was Such a Good Level! This ship-only demon has some Extremely fun gameplay along with an amazing song! I Don't really like the last 20-30% of the level, but I digress. I Couldn't find any other Copy of Celestia without auto, so I made one myself and uploaded it to the servers.
This level is such a great level and after beating it and I Highly Recommend you play this level. I honestly feel sort of sad to see it become free, but I sorta hope it returns to its original form.

The geometry dash VR thingy is actually a roblox game called ''Poly Dash''. The person who filmed themselves playing it just played roblox on a VR headset. In my opinion, poly dash is pretty good. The ship physics are a bit stiffer but still, a very nice recreation.
the final clip was super easy to make:
1 make a playable level;
2 use black notouch blocks with a little opening so the player can see;
3 use move trigger -1 move time with Ypos and Xpos attached to player. (obliousy connect it with the black blocks)
and bam! same level. -_-
edit: to make those block that increase visibility just place a move trigger with touch.
it took me 1 hour...

the reason why its not rated is probably because no one is gonna play it and it is very unplayable on 200 frame perfects, but also there is already avernus being broken so tidal is gonna make it even further worse thats what the mod team thinks idk, or probably cuz they hate blue, and they like heck theme
Maybe robtop is going to make a new demon difficulty like impossible demon and he’s waiting for it to be added so he can rate tidal wave fairly
celestia is now back on track and is an insane demon 💀 notxo also has other rated free back on track levels (total of 31 stars)
So I checked on Notxo (the guy who turned Celestia into back on track) and the levels that are rated where also turned into one. But the unrated level remained unchanged, so I checked some of them out and they were beautiful, truly sad that such talent is being thrown away, perhaps I'm missing something.
Notxo said he isnt feeling good. This is probably happened because of this. I hope he gets better
There is no reason for tidal wave to NOT get rated. What does the mod team gain from having TW unrated? Do they think rating TW will cause the end of the world as we know it or something? Is the idea of giving Onilink ONE creator point so tragic that Rob couldn't BEAR to see it rated? I don't get it. I think star rates shouldn't be determined by deco but should be based on quality of gameplay because a level shouldn't be blocked off from giving stars and orbs due to the deco. Featured, epic, etc should be for rateworthy gameplay + good deco and star rates for good gameplay.
Also, TW is the hardest thing anyone has ever verified in the game. That deserves a rate at least IMO. And if 360 physics are the problem, then all the other levels on the list that were beaten only on 360 should be unrated until rebeaten on 2.2 physics as well.

so far i personally think the tidal wave redeco is going really well. if you see this and go "i disagree", 1) they're passing every change through the creator of the level, and 2) they said that if you turn on LDM mode when the redeco is done it'll be the original decorations
