How to make the bug:
We start with the dash orb on the dual - just hold your finger on it.
WITHOUT TAKING YOUR FINGER OFF SCREEN
We press the pause button with our other finger.
Let's go, we were able to replicate the bug. - เกม
For those who don't wanna do the math. 70K hours is equivalent to almost 8 years.
8 years/~10.5 years = Even if Geometry Dash was on Steam since it's initial release and he bought it the second it was released in that scenario, around 3-quarters of his life from that point onward had Geometry Dash running on his PC

@@snowster_II Tysm :) If you mean just the parallax movement, it’s actually really simple, just use move triggers and experiment with them in the X order till you get something that looks good, Jammattck made a really good video explaining it👍

@@snowster_IIi had 2 of the four vertices of a gradient trigger on the edge of a platform and the other 2 in the center, and i did this for every side of the platforms. i’ll eventually make a tutorial on my channel

The dash orb bug works on Windows PCs as well. Pressing the Windows key will temporarily exit the game, and when you return and unpause the game, the bug will occur.
I'm not sure about other PCs tho

1:00 I found a similar bug back in 2.11 but it still works today, where if you release and input in the same frame you can jump in midair after the dash

1:02 It's not just for dash orb you can also do that on dual ship mode, back in 2.1 I made a level called "pause bug" which also uses that except I discovered it by accidentally pausing while making a dual ship gameplay, so I made a short level that has a wall of blocks at the end (expect 1 block above the floor) so to pass it you have to do the bug (which makes the main player fall down the floor and the flipped 2nd player is still flying down)
I'm not sure if it works for dual wave but it probably is tho since you can do hold inputs, and also the bug works on pc just pause using the ESC button lmao
I didn't know about a similar bug with other game modes, well I also tried to replicate it on PC, but nothing works with both ESC and WIN button
@@DNS_2000 Try holding down then while doing it press the esc button to pause (while still holding down), let go then unpause and that should probably work.
I can't test it on pc myself though since I don't have one rn lol
