MOMOTARO & GENKI Family ( Momotaro Fam)
Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAC.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

Great to know since we have no view into their evening/night! I was surprised to learn that Gentaro sleeps near Momotaro at times. Fantastic!

@@shayshayc3609 LOL, not really Momotaro does not like conflict or violence,, and Gentaro is the exact same way, they both are very timid and lovable. Momotaro doesn’t want to hurt Gentaro you can see this when he ignores Gentaro running up to him. And about week or two ago Momotaro was playing with Gentaro and Kintaro. And yesterday I seen a video Momotaro and Gentaro playing in the small room.

Some apes love human interaction. My experience is with chimpanzees but some of them loved hugs, tried to sit with you or on you 😂 some of the little ones liked to be carried. They are just incredibly strong babies. ❤
Estos gorilas todos son muy amados por sus cuidadores especialmente la muchacha hay que ejercer el grandullón de Momotaro que la espalda es tan ancha como va.por ella para que le frote la espalda es bello ver eso Gentaro la ama lo criaron 10 meses con un biberón hasta a Genki es la menos interesada pero ellos le dan golosinas especiales pq estuvo enferma delgada y corre por ella esos gorilas son muy queridos por sus cuidadores hay que reflejar su excelente trabajo ellos se derriten por ellos ❤

Eso he dicho tambien ese zoologico debe mejorar sus condiciones respetuosamente en comparación con el resto de los zoológicos de Japón es el peor esta muy deteriorada hay que ver el zoológico de Haoko Sabanis DJEICO son bellas areas exteriores una alimentacion co.en muchas frutas y vegetales por el bienestar de los animalitos que estan en cautiverio deben mejorar las condiciones del zoológico arreglando las áreas exteriores ampliando los espacios alimentsndolos mejor es tan amplia el area exterior del zoologico de DJEICO vi a Tayaris subir hasta la copa de un arbol feliz eso les encanta ahi no existe nada de eso . y después se ponen bajo estres no tienen como disfrutar mira Gentaro su u ico disfrute es correr detrás de Gentar es un niño adulto no tiene nada que hacer Momotaro sentado siempre Genki buscando comida.no hay distracciones para ellos

Gracias Gorila life excelente explicación verdaderamente ustedes aman estos animalitos el mundo los sigue que bueno tienen 3 habitaciones acondicionadas con barras pajas y hamacas y un pasillo lateral que comunica todas las habitaciones por favor es solo una curiosidad teniendo en cuenta el frío tan horrible que hace ahí las habitaciones no están climatizadas porque ellos son animalitos en cautiverio los que viven en cautiverio están acostumbrados gracias por su detallada explicacion

Creo que tanto como de a mbular por el patio no los puede morder algún animal que se arrastre hay muchas plantas pero si explica hay 3 habitaciones y un pasillo interior para caminar tienen que evitar las mordeduras de serpiente o algún otro animal lo q si creo debe haber alguien ahí con ellos como un guardia de seguridad gorila life gracias por ser t a n pacientes son inquietudes normales

Viven en espacios reducidos, entre metales, vidrio y plástico peligrosos para su salud al igual que el contacto con los humanos y sus enfermedades, presentan comportamientos estresantes, desequilibrios emocionales que les afectan psíquica y físicamente. La belleza del pelaje de los gorilas libres en la selva no se compara con el de los gorilas cautivos.
Los animales deben vivir en su hábitat natural, y poco a poco deberían clausurarse todos los zoos del mundo.
Los programas de recuperación de especies en peligro de extinción debieran ser la única excepción a la vida en libertad, si fuera necesario.

Not only would Momotaro eat most of the fruits and vegetables if they didn't separate the family during dinner, but he would get angry at the others for possibly thinking that they were taking his food away from him, and who knows how many fights would have started up due to that.
At least he lets them eat. Kifu and some other silverbacks won’t let any of their family members eat while they’re around. Those families are lucky they are in zoos because they sneak food to them when the silverback isn’t looking

No así no están muy supervisados los separan n porque Momtaro no es como Sabanis que deja a sus hijos salir primero y Ai también y no se.enoja Momotaro no deja que nadie le quite su comida por eso ellos.los separan para wue no se le leen son diferentes.pero existen especialistas vigilando y grabando sus comportamientos son animales salvajes no humsnos

No secret. Simply we can’t clearly see them because it was taken without any lights at night time. That’s all.

I never see a whole orange just the peels that they scrape the white off and throw the peel down....

They are given but less frequently. Fruits like oranges are way too sweet and they melt a gorilla’s tooth. In the wild , a gorilla doesn’t eat such a fruit with high sugar rate.
