EVOC Final Exam

Congratulations EVOC Instructors!
After a weeklong train-the-trainer POST course, Saturday was the final exam for Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) instructors. The students - turned instructors - demonstrated classroom teaching techniques before taking a group of community volunteers to the ISP track, where driving techniques were applied in a learning environment.
The POST course taught law enforcement personnel from all over Idaho. The newly minted instructors will return to their agencies to pass along their knowledge as a large portion of law enforcement is driving; officers must be well versed in proper vehicle operation, evasive techniques, and understanding environmental limitations as they respond to calls for service and emergency situations. Based on Saturday's success, these instructors will uphold the high standards needed to train others.
