The issue with the vests were an issue early in, then they got better but it’s sounding like this is an issue again. I’m not seeing anything that makes me regret getting out of this line.
Pressure and counter pressure. You can’t just use pressure to get the mushroom in the hole on the vest. You have to have counter pressure. Very easy to put on with tweezers or small pliers.
Great review. I still have ptsd from the series 1 vests. He did improve the pegs of the vests with each subsequent release but it is disappointing to see the issue pop back again with the new style vests.
Use the squeeze lever of a pair of nail clippers to apply pressure from UNDERNEATH the mushroom plug. Got a hundred Valaverse and it works every time 🍻
I’ve told you before, hot water is your friend! Put the hole side in the hot water for about 30 seconds, then use a pair of tweezers to push the mushroom pegs through the holes while they are still pliable. Works pretty well. I’m sure that Bobby V. will make improvements if people let him know about the problems. Good review!
Pretty nice review, the vest tabs are a bit hard but nothing like the wave 1 vests in terms of struggle. But like many things Bobby will probably correct them over time. I’m loving the new molds from this wave and enjoying the new parts to mix and match
I kinda like this figure the most out of this series. Yes its a troop builder but it looks awesome to me even without the vest. It also has some similarities with the reaper like you mentioned (i like that figure too) so I'm glad you featured him prominently. Thanks for the review. Always a blast to watch your videos. 🍺 🎉
My thumbs and pointer finger still hurt from series one. I was excited for this new troop builder but I hope the loose joints are a recurring theme through this wave. Wave 2 still has the best peg system, and If you have a favorite peg system from a wave you might have to do some more work. 🤣 I’m still hopeful about this wave, and the recon trooper was who I was most excited about.
You trying to put that vest on the figure was starting to give me anxiety, it's funny considering how much trash Bobby talks about GI Joe classified when his figures aren't exactly perfect either and for the prices he's charging you shouldn't be dealing with any problems with action force products.

The riot trooper and Urban from series one were an absolute nightmare. It was so awesome to see the urban trooper armor fixed in wave 4.
Looks like they made green shirts for the classified nightforce.

I used a heat gun and eventually it worked my fingers were super sore though lol
I don’t like that the helmets aren’t getting the ear coverings. They look weird without. IMO

I'm confident he will fix things but it becomes hard to talk trash when your own product has problems.

Does a duster plate carrier fit on the recon trooper? If so how good or bad does it look?
From my understanding the only thing that might have problems is the Atlas buck and maybe the Praetorian but it should fit.
