You can tell Abigail Carroll is really passionate about oysters and her farm in Maine. Her passion and hard work is inspiring and can clearly be felt when she's talking about the product she makes. These are the kind of businesses I love seeing!! Thanks for sharing, Eater.
its rare that Ive been surprized but this video really made me say wow but have you looked at the resource called Gregs Mushroom Grower just google for it
I like it how Katie instead of standing there and talking about what their doing, she actually does it, she gets involved, she’s not afraid of work/ to try new things.
Looking at the water im thinking it's about -5c or 23f ish. tops and you need 4 layers and can't feel your feet? I'm thinking you choose all the wrong fabrics in the layers.
Here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland I would once again adore the flavor of raw oysters and seaside clams. but the doctor says no. for 10 years I have opined.on the last of my days however I will consume to my hearts delight.
@@HappyPlanetPodcast Looks like mighty tasty oysters either way :) I live on the west coast of Sweden so we have the same kind of cold nutritious waters for producing great shellfish.
Eater, please get rid of this director and go back to whoever was making this show fun. These last few episodes are just a dog chasing its tail. Katie, blink twice if you need help!

What are they fed?
They eat plankton, I think.
recoil53 thanks
Nothing really, they get their food from the river. They eat plankton, phytoplankton, zooplankton and small debris of animals or algae.
@@itssaaronn5292 Filter feeders just like Itss stated They help clean the water.
Kevin used to be in Foghat.

6:29 No hot sauce :(
hotsauce ruins the flavor!
You don't have "Belon" oysters since you are clearly not in Belon. You have the same species, Ostrea edulis.
'tis true!
