Man Of Iron is a sort of follow up/reboot version of Chang Cheh's original "The Boxer From Shantung", with the same directors,actors from that film,and continues a similar story that echoes the tragic,doomed hero suffering the same fate as the previous one years later on.

Man of Iron is a Republic of China era movie. There's some good stuff there but it tends to be much more downbeat. Chen Kwuan Tai excelled in that era, esp the Kid from Kuangtang/Guangdong. Shadow Whip is GREAT. Enjoy! Brothers Five is also pretty cool if you like old westerns (very Sons of Katie Elder).
My favorite is of course Kuo Chui!! And so many others!! I am a huge Shaw brothers fan i use to have 90 SB movies on VHS back in 80s and 90s. i have Arrow video Volume Two Shaw Scope 10 disk blu-ray and Arrow Video Volume One Shaw Scope 10 disk blu-ray all digital remastered!! I hope to see Arrow Video VolumeThree SB 10 disk with.. Killer Army Two champions of Shoalin House of traps Spearman of death Flag of Iron To kill a mastermind Savage 5 Sword stained with royal blood Chinese Super Ninjas The kid with a tattoo
Thanks for watching -- According to reports there won't be a ShawScope Vol 3 released in 2023 and also people are saying that when it comes out they will be leaning into other genres and not so much kung fu.... so looks like maybe Shout Factory is covering those bases. Those movies you mentioned are fun ones - I haven't seen a couple but maybe soon and some only on bootleg DVDs.
Thanks for watching -- a big difference as each collection features a different variety of movies. If you are new to the SB collecting game I would say to start with ShawScope Vol 1 and 2 -- especially because you can get them much cheaper now than when released!

Some of the Shout Factory SB box sets are website exclusives like the Brave Archer one and the upcoming Iron Triangle set so those might not go on sale but Vol 1,2 and 3 maybe! They are releasing so many all this year that my wallet is empty but my blu-ray shelf is getting full!
There is a German company called WRG and they put out a decent Blu Ray of All men are brothers, plus a bunch of other Shaw films that the US and UK companies haven't released. Definitely going to pick this up. All of the art is from the original Hong Kong posters, I really dig that more so than the modern covers.
Interesting - I wonder if that blu-ray held up the rights to include in a shout factory set -- looks like the prices on the aftermarket aren't cheap for All Men Are Brothers - maybe i'll stick to my DVD for now. And yes, they did justice by including original artwork - most new to me!
All Men are Brothers will be in the Ti Lung/David Chiang Collection from Shout Factory released next month. Definitely check out Crimson Charm and Dragon Missile. They were 1st time watches but really enjoyed.

I have Lady of Steel on dvd for my Jackie Chan collection. He was a small role in that. It is probably my favorite Shaw Brothers movie. Great action!
