⭐Walking My Favorite Area in London + Paddington Station

- We walk from our hotel in Queensway along Bayswater Road and Hyde Park and adjacent side streets to Paddington Station, on our way to Heathrow Airport. We first have a simple grocery store breakfast in Kensington Gardens. And on the way to Paddington, we pause at a hotel that I like to stay in sometimes, and we visit a typical mews of nicely restored row homes. Once in Paddington, we navigate our way to the Elizabeth Line train platform.

You are in our favourite part of London. We stay at a hotel in Queensborough Terrace and we love the Queensway shopping centre. It has everything we need - including Britain's oldest coin operated Laundrette. We love the walk from Paddington Station to the hotel. There are several Terraces you can go down and one can walk next to Kensington Gardens for a lot of the way. We use the Elizabeth line from the airport as we have Oster cards, but on our way home, we book early for the Heathrow Express through "Trainline" and we have a Railcard which gives us a further discount. This makes the cost quite comparable.
It's my favorite part of London, too! Always like to stay here. -Daniel
