I highly recommend listening to their b-sides as well, even if it's just in y'alls free time. We all know about no-skip albums but Dreamcatcher has an entire no-skip discography. So much diversity in their sound and they kill it every time.
A lot of the b-sides do have special clips and are very much worth reacting to as are some (but probably not all) of there cover songs. These can all be found on their special clips playlist,. Definitely Sleepwalking, Wonderland, and And There Was No One Left (for b-sides) are worth reacting to. But a lot of their covers will also introduce you to new sides of the members and are reaction worthy. Like, you're not going to just be sitting there without anything to say. I'm not an expert in their lore but basically the girls represent nightmares and they were haunting the guy (who is kinda a "ghost/nightmare" hunter). The next song, Good night, continues from here story-wise. Fly high (the 3rd one), is the prequel to their first two releases and will give a general idea how they became nightmares.

The reason they aren't huge, is due to Happy Face (now Dreamcatcher Company) not being one of the huge companies, but mainly because rock was not a popular genre in Korea. DC became a genre in to themselves, where all groups now that debut with dark/rock concepts are compared to DC. It still isn't really popular, but DC has been slowly gaining momentum in Korea, but have more international support. At some point in your DC journey, you should watch the two Minx videos, just to see the REAL beginning, it is both mind boggling and entertaining the difference, but also you can still see the sheer talent of the girls. I have to applaud HF/DCC to stick with the girls, and re-debut them as DC instead of just putting them in the basement, or disbandment.
Realistically I think Dreamcatcher became about as popular as they COULD be before the pandemic. While you're correct that Korean audiences weren't ready for them, Dreamcatcher Company did pretty much EVERYTHING right to blow up internationally during those first years. They went from debut to sold-out EU/US tours (~1000 capacity venues) in less than three years, which is extremely rare for an indie group. That international support helped them get through the pandemic years cut off from tour revenue, and primed the audiences at home for "Scream" and the growth that has come since. Courses could be taught about how smart and effective Dreamcatcher Company's management is.
I wouldnt say dreamcatcher is not popular anymore. With almost 150k album sales of their latest comeback in Korean sales alone they are in the top10 GG by sales rn.
Yes, this is the song they debuted with - on a Friday the 13th. 😉 This was really unexpected! Korea wasn't ready for them yet. Rock has been kind of dead in Korea since the 'incident' (which was a TV show where a male punk rock band dropped their pants on live TV and let it fly), but Dreamcatcher has been clawing their way up again. Now Rock is much more accepted in Korea. Not just because of Dreamcatcher of course, but they did their part. The lore will get clearer, especially after the third part of the Nightmare series. That mini album is called Prequel, hint, hint.

He's looking for something in Room 808. The wraiths try to stop him and toy with him, and give him nightmares. He breaks into Room 808 and finds what he's been looking for. But who are the wraiths? And how can they conjure magic, apart from giving nightmares? What secret lies inside Room 808?

I'm in deep ladies, I spend 300$ just to help them get their 1st and 2nd win, I'm a insomnia since late late 2018, these 7 women are my heart, EVERYTHING they sing is a masterpiece, out of all there songs I probably don't listen to three..but they have full albums of songs, for me to like all of them but 3 is impressive to me, I'm a picky listener but they never disappointed me! They are my ultimate group and always will be!
For just this video, the guy's investigating the girls in this place. Like he's chasing them while the girls challenge and teased him to chase them. In the end, he somehow figured something about them, that's what the smirk was. Which continues to the next MV, which is Goodnight. That ending chime melody is also the starting for Goodnight.
Bit of explanation without spoilers: Chase Me starts the Nightmare series, Good Night is the continuation. In both MVs this guy seems to be investigating a haunted house/hotel where the girls are. Here at the end he smirks bc he finds their picture which he only had a copy of. You can see that he feels them but the cameras don’t record them which means they’re ghosts/spirits. The girls were cursed bc of something that happened in Fly High (prequel - 3rd MV). You and I, What and PIRI are also part of the series. And yes they aren’t as popular as they deserve bc their company is small and their concept and sound was definitely ahead of their time. Now you see more groups debuting with darker concepts and a harder sound but there was almost none of that in 2017. It’s been an uphill battle and while I agree you should continue with their MVs pls make sure to watch ‘Dodging Disbandment and other Extreme Sports’ at some point.

As far as I know about the lore, they were cursed and became nightmares in the dreamworld, haunting people's dreams. This guys tries to chase and hunt them down, but this won't be easy 😂. The next title track is Good Night and it shows what happen to the guy as he keeps trying to get to the girls. The third title track is Fly High and its a prequel that will show who cursed the girls to became nightmares
If JYP or SM debuted a group like this it would be daring but they would still get a massive following because of the company. Because Happyface wasn't one of the big 3, Dreamcatcher went under the radar and are only now starting to make some headway in the Korean market.
I’m so glad you guys are diving more into Dreamcatcher :) Here is a explanation of chase me: A ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally which you will find out later) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that is linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed. In the video you can see the girls were having fun messing with the ghost hunter like gahyeon was throwing books down and more to scare him off so that he won’t find the 808 room where their pictures were. Yoohyeon changed all the room number to 808 so that he won’t find the actual 808 room but the hunter looked through the videos he took and found out they all were suspicious about one room and that’s how he found it. Next is good night and just to give a little info… fly high is after good night in terms of release but fly high is a prequel to the story and that’s where u find more answers I enjoyed the reaction and I look forward to more :)
I'll second a comment I saw someone else mention. The next MV is Good Night, but after you watch Dreamcatcher's original you should definitely check out the cover version by Rolling Quartz. They got official approval from Dreamcatcher for the cover and are also all insomnias.
The lore doesn't start in this song. It begins in the third song, Fly High, which is a prequel to Chase Me. They're already ghosts here, spirits of nightmare that bring bad dreams to sleeping people. If you remember what was popular in 2017 you'll understand why it took so long for them to become popular. Basically they scared the crap out of Koreans who don't like rock music anyway, were used to cute groups like Twice, and generally the demographic of South Koreans who stan girl groups (young males) were intimidated by the image of women as being strong and fierce. It goes completely against the role of women in Korean traditional culture. Dreamcatcher were saved from disbandment when they were discovered by international Kpop fans who loved everything about them. Their recent music show wins were driven by Western fans, otherwise I think they would still be ignored by the Kpop establishment. I found them by chance in 2017 and there was almost nothing about them on YT and nothing was translated. Whenever a reactor popped up who actually watched their MV's every Western fan would descend on that channel. The Dreamcatcher effect, and it's still happening. If you haven't noticed the effect on your channel you soon will. InSomnias are dedicated and extremely loyal. We worked hard for 5 years through disappointment after disappointment to get them their first music show win. We aren't stopping now.

You may think you know them after watching a few This Is videos and a couple of the longer videos, but you do not. It took me over a year and more to get to know them. There is so much more you need to see before you truly know them.
17 and 11 months, 19, 20 (barely), 20, 21, 22, 22 years old at debut. Dude is a ghost hunter and they are ghosts messing with him through dreams because they are bored and to keep him away from that room with their photo and a magic book. Once he has the book and photo he can do stuff to their ghosty selves (in Good Night).
I’m having so much fun watching you ladies take this Dreamcatcher journey. There is so much detail in this mv, like the costume switch in the very beginning from red to black, and quick scenes like Gahyeon pushing the books over, then later we see the books fall on their own. I love mvs like this that at first watch seems straightforward but actually has so much rewatch value.
I am pretty sure Chase me has a performance MV and a dance practice that both show the choreography. Their choreography is always complicated and some are more exhausting for the members then others. The Chase Me choreography was exhausting for Dami and Siyeon. You should watch all of their Performance MVs, Dance Practices, and Dance Relays. Jiu and SuA were 23, Siyeon was 22, Handong was 21, Yoohyeon and Dami were 20 and Gahyeon was a wee 18. Gahyeon was still in school! As for the lore, each girl represents a fear/ nightmare. Good Night picks up where Chase me stops. The guy is hunting them for some reason or another and they are haunting him. Fly High is a prequel and it sets up how they became the fears/nightmares in a flashback kind of way. Before I knew about the story line, I had watched Piri and You and I first because I was just clicking random videos. When I found out about the story, I then went and watched it starting with Chase Me. After I watched it through via chronological release I watched it again starting with Fly High to see how that worked with story flow by using it as the set up instead of the flashback. There are 6, technical 7 MVs if you include their first Japanese release for this story. Chase Me (Nightmare EP), Good Night (Fall Asleep in the Mirror), Fly High (Prequel), You and I (Nightmare- Escape the ERA), What (Alone in the City), Piri (End of Nightmare), Breaking Out (Beginning of the End) Their fear/nightmare that they represent- Jiu- fear of being chased SuA - fear of restraint Siyeon- small spaces/claustrophobia Handong- scopophobia/fear of being stared at Yoohyeon -mazeophobia/fear of being lost Dami-fear of getting hurt/Oulinophobia or Agliophobia Gahyeon- fear of falling/basophobia There are people on Reddit for other places that wrote a out their own theory of the story or explain the lore by using all of the mvs at once instead of one at a time to make a story. I am sure there are people that I broken the MVs down independently instead of all tie ins. “This is a horror movie” well, they are the queens of horror/dark concepts.when they debuted, other groups were doing bright/cute/girl crush so they definitely stood out with this. And it’s something that the industry is as not ready for them and is honestly still not ready for since it took them this long to get their first and second wins with MAISON. While some groups will go rock/dark is of the time for one comeback, but for Dreamcatcher, this is who they are. My dark rock angels of KPop.
You may want to check out Trailers 1 and 2 for Chase Me and Trailers 1 an 2 for Good Night before you go on to Good Night. They are short, but helpful. (And kind of eerie!) In general, the Dreamcatcher Trailers (not Teasers) are worthwhile - they stopped doing them after Deja Vu.
Fire debut song, fire vocal especially when they're on radio and killed this song with 'raw' vocal while sitting down and just being crack heads, u guys should watch it. Not just for chase me but other song when they do it live, it's just 😙👌
Some groups just have a very strong debut... but Dreamcatcher, specifically, had the significant advantages that most of their members had debuted before as Minx and, also, all of them are super talented. For Siyeon, specifically, the re-debut as Dreamcatcher meant that she got to stop pretending to be what the industry wanted and just be herself (I think Jiu very well might feel similarly, but Siyeon outright said as much in an interview). As to the meaning of "Chase Me"... it is a mini horror movie, basically. It's the girls trapped in their dream-world tormenting a ghost hunter in his dreams. The "To be continued" refers specifically to the story being picked up exactly where it left off in "Good Night." Note that "Fly High" is a prequel. It was released significantly later but provides setup for where "Chase Me" started.
This was the official debut MV for DreamCatcher. The date on the video says January 12th but some people keep saying it really dropped on Friday the Thirteenth (evven Wikipedia says that), which would have added to the Horror aspect... lol. The lore for the Nightmare arc started with this one. The next song is Good Night. You also may need to know about Minx BUT all of that can wait until you are done with the Nightmare arc. So this is the nightmare series which includes Chase me, Good night, Fly high, What, You and I and Piri, (to a certain extent their japanese release, Breaking out). You'll find out how they got into the situation in the first place in their Fly high mv. And continues to What, You and I and Piri, with Chase me and Good night supposedly being the aftermath of what happened in the others. Some fans also speculate that Breaking out might be an alternative ending to Piri.

Out of the 40 groups that debuted in 2017 only a few including Dreamcatcher are still out there. And Dreamcatcher was the only group with a rock /metal theme with horror concept. They could've gone the usual girl crush /cutesy concepts, but they chose to be different. They're not underrated, but under-appreciated back home, because rock /metal is not a popular genre among the masses. While it's massive in other countries. Which is why they are loved all over the world. But having said that, they are slowly, but surely, getting recognized in Korea, which was helped by their first wins for Maison and the concerts and tours. Also I absolutely loved your reactions. I've been into Dreamcatcher for just over 7 months and I have seen many reaction videos, but still I loved yours because I get to relive those moments through you guys.

Their first seven title videos are telling the nightmare story of the "curse of the spider-witch". It actually starts with the 3rd video ("Fly High") which serves as the prequel to "Chase me" and to the whole storyline in general, and ends up with "Deja-Vu".

Y'all should take one step back now and check out the two MINX MVs, Dreamcatcher before Handong and Gahyeon join and the concept flips to dark horror Kpop rock. Funny that you say they were ahead of their time… they debuted with rock in 2017 and now 5 years later everyone has started making rock infused title tracks. I wonder what the reaction would’ve been had they debuted now. I just know this concept and sound would’ve made them super popular if they were a boy group
6:40 that means "everything" is to be continued; the lore, the MV story, and also...just re-watch Chase Me right before you start watching Good Night. Rock genre is already a minority in South Korea though there are/were some popular artists/groups with that genre: N.Ex.T, Crying Nut, No Brain, TraxX, CN Blue, FT Island, Norazo, Day6, etc. Also Taiji (& Boys) but they are kinda an exception as they are one of (or it is) the most popular group in SK (which, btw, Dreamcacther also made a cover of Taiji's song "시대유감" and it is awesome). But, a girl group with rock & spooky vibe? Now that's a first in kpop history. For a relatively small company like Happyface Ent., that was a really bold move but I'm happy they stick out with the concept (also the album sales were much better than MINX's so...). And another important thing is, the members are actually liking the group's concept.

Hearing you have the excitement I had when I found them is amazing. They never really come out and explicitly discuss their lore except for saying that they all represent certain nightmares. I wont lie, I wasn't able to discern what their nightmares were until they told us specifically. They have multiple lore though and I don't think you'll be disappointed at all with anything. When you go through the Korean MVs in order, I highly suggest checking out their Japanese ones, as they have some lore as well. (My personal favorite is Endless Night). I really suggest checking out their special clips and their dance practices as well. They are considered some of the most synchronized dancers in kpop as well, so you might enjoy that. It's a part of Nightmare Series. It's more like a Mental Health theme rather than horror story. Where the girls represent each different Phobia (which is a type of mental illness itself) & try to fight the demon within themselves. If they win, they will free & live a happy life...or if they lose, they will trapped in the darkness and became demon forever. That is why The Nightmare Series have 2 different ending (Piri & Breaking Out)

According to the theories about the full lore of the nightmare series that I know, this mv this mv is the third part the of nightmare series. (The first is Full Moon, the second one is Fly High) The mv show the girls in their corrupted nightmare forms who are trapped in the hotel. The guy is a (nightmare) hunter sent to investigate the building and try to find some information about the girls. After try seen Jiu by the camera he start investigating until he is tired and get nosebleed, then he decide to sleep. Since they are nightmares, they can appearing and disappearing and can't be seen with camera. They can also entering his dreamworld, causing a nightmares when he is sleep. Then Sua and Dami 'play' their nightmare in his dreamworld. In the other side, each one of the other members annoy the hunter in real life. Then Yoohyeon is seen tormenting the corridor and adding to the mystery of room 808. He analyses the evidences of their torments in real life and finds out the origin, that being room 808. I highly recommend listening to their b-sides as well, even if it's just in y'alls free time. We all know about no-skip albums but Dreamcatcher has an entire no-skip discography. So much diversity in their sound and they kill it every time.
A lot of the b-sides do have special clips and are very much worth reacting to as are some (but probably not all) of there cover songs. These can all be found on their special clips playlist,. Definitely Sleepwalking, Wonderland, and And There Was No One Left (for b-sides) are worth reacting to. The reason they aren't huge, is due to Happy Face (now Dreamcatcher Company) not being one of the huge companies, but mainly because rock was not a popular genre in Korea. DC became a genre in to themselves, where all groups now that debut with dark/rock concepts are compared to DC. It still isn't really popular, but DC has been slowly gaining momentum in Korea, but have more international support. At some point in your DC journey, you should watch the two Minx videos, just to see the REAL beginning, it is both mind boggling and entertaining the difference, but also you can still see the sheer talent of the girls. I have to applaud HF/DCC to stick with the girls, and re-debut them as DC instead of just putting them in the basement, or disbandment.

Realistically I think Dreamcatcher became about as popular as they COULD be before the pandemic. While you're correct that Korean audiences weren't ready for them, Dreamcatcher Company did pretty much EVERYTHING right to blow up internationally during those first years. They went from debut to sold-out EU/US tours (~1000 capacity venues) in less than three years, which is extremely rare for an indie group. That international support helped them get through the pandemic years cut off from tour revenue, and primed the audiences at home for "Scream" and the growth that has come since. Courses could be taught about how smart and effective Dreamcatcher Company's management is.
I wouldnt say dreamcatcher is not popular anymore. With almost 150k album sales of their latest comeback in Korean sales alone they are in the top10 GG by sales rn.
Yes, this is the song they debuted with - on a Friday the 13th. 😉 This was really unexpected! Korea wasn't ready for them yet. Rock has been kind of dead in Korea since the 'incident' (which was a TV show where a male punk rock band dropped their pants on live TV and let it fly), but Dreamcatcher has been clawing their way up again. Now Rock is much more accepted in Korea. Not just because of Dreamcatcher of course, but they did their part.
The lore will get clearer, especially after the third part of the Nightmare series. That mini album is called Prequel, hint, hint.

Bit of explanation without spoilers: Chase Me starts the Nightmare series, Good Night is the continuation. In both MVs this guy seems to be investigating a haunted house/hotel where the girls are. Here at the end he smirks bc he finds their picture which he only had a copy of. You can see that he feels them but the cameras don’t record them which means they’re ghosts/spirits. The girls were cursed bc of something that happened in Fly High (prequel - 3rd MV). You and I, What and PIRI are also part of the series.
And yes they aren’t as popular as they deserve bc their company is small and their concept and sound was definitely ahead of their time. Now you see more groups debuting with darker concepts and a harder sound but there was almost none of that in 2017. It’s been an uphill battle and while I agree you should continue with their MVs pls make sure to watch ‘Dodging Disbandment and other Extreme Sports’ at some point.

As far as I know about the lore, they were cursed and became nightmares in the dreamworld, haunting people's dreams. This guys tries to chase and hunt them down, but this won't be easy 😂. The next title track is Good Night and it shows what happen to the guy as he keeps trying to get to the girls. The third title track is Fly High and its a prequel that will show who cursed the girls to became nightmares
If JYP or SM debuted a group like this it would be daring but they would still get a massive following because of the company. Because Happyface wasn't one of the big 3, Dreamcatcher went under the radar and are only now starting to make some headway in the Korean market.

A ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally which you will find out later) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that is linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed. In the video you can see the girls were having fun messing with the ghost hunter like gahyeon was throwing books down and more to scare him off so that he won’t find the 808 room where their pictures were. Yoohyeon changed all the room number to 808 so that he won’t find the actual 808 room but the hunter looked through the videos he took and found out they all were suspicious about one room and that’s how he found it.
Next is good night and just to give a little info… fly high is after good night in terms of release but fly high is a prequel to the story and that’s where u find more answers

I'll second a comment I saw someone else mention. The next MV is Good Night, but after you watch Dreamcatcher's original you should definitely check out the cover version by Rolling Quartz. They got official approval from Dreamcatcher for the cover and are also all insomnias.
The lore doesn't start in this song. It begins in the third song, Fly High, which is a prequel to Chase Me. They're already ghosts here, spirits of nightmare that bring bad dreams to sleeping people. If you remember what was popular in 2017 you'll understand why it took so long for them to become popular. Basically they scared the crap out of Koreans who don't like rock music anyway, were used to cute groups like Twice, and generally the demographic of South Koreans who stan girl groups (young males) were intimidated by the image of women as being strong and fierce. It goes completely against the role of women in Korean traditional culture. Dreamcatcher were saved from disbandment when they were discovered by international Kpop fans who loved everything about them. Their recent music show wins were driven by Western fans, otherwise I think they would still be ignored by the Kpop establishment.
I found them by chance in 2017 and there was almost nothing about them on YT and nothing was translated. Whenever a reactor popped up who actually watched their MV's every Western fan would descend on that channel. The Dreamcatcher effect, and it's still happening. If you haven't noticed the effect on your channel you soon will. InSomnias are dedicated and extremely loyal. We worked hard for 5 years through disappointment after disappointment to get them their first music show win. We aren't stopping now.

You may think you know them after watching a few This Is videos and a couple of the longer videos, but you do not. It took me over a year and more to get to know them. There is so much more you need to see before you truly know them.
17 and 11 months, 19, 20 (barely), 20, 21, 22, 22 years old at debut. Dude is a ghost hunter and they are ghosts messing with him through dreams because they are bored and to keep him away from that room with their photo and a magic book. Once he has the book and photo he can do stuff to their ghosty selves (in Good Night).
I’m having so much fun watching you ladies take this Dreamcatcher journey. There is so much detail in this mv, like the costume switch in the very beginning from red to black, and quick scenes like Gahyeon pushing the books over, then later we see the books fall on their own. I love mvs like this that at first watch seems straightforward but actually has so much rewatch value.

I am pretty sure Chase me has a performance MV and a dance practice that both show the choreography. Their choreography is always complicated and some are more exhausting for the members then others. The Chase Me choreography was exhausting for Dami and Siyeon. You should watch all of their Performance MVs, Dance Practices, and Dance Relays.
Jiu and SuA were 23, Siyeon was 22, Handong was 21, Yoohyeon and Dami were 20 and Gahyeon was a wee 18. Gahyeon was still in school!
As for the lore, each girl represents a fear/ nightmare. Good Night picks up where Chase me stops. The guy is hunting them for some reason or another and they are haunting him. Fly High is a prequel and it sets up how they became the fears/nightmares in a flashback kind of way. Before I knew about the story line, I had watched Piri and You and I first because I was just clicking random videos. When I found out about the story, I then went and watched it starting with Chase Me. After I watched it through via chronological release I watched it again starting with Fly High to see how that worked with story flow by using it as the set up instead of the flashback. There are 6, technical 7 MVs if you include their first Japanese release for this story. Chase Me (Nightmare EP), Good Night (Fall Asleep in the Mirror), Fly High (Prequel), You and I (Nightmare- Escape the ERA), What (Alone in the City), Piri (End of Nightmare), Breaking Out (Beginning of the End)
Their fear/nightmare that they represent-

Siyeon- small spaces/claustrophobia

There are people on Reddit for other places that wrote a out their own theory of the story or explain the lore by using all of the mvs at once instead of one at a time to make a story. I am sure there are people that I broken the MVs down independently instead of all tie ins.
“This is a horror movie” well, they are the queens of horror/dark concepts.when they debuted, other groups were doing bright/cute/girl crush so they definitely stood out with this. And it’s something that the industry is as not ready for them and is honestly still not ready for since it took them this long to get their first and second wins with MAISON. While some groups will go rock/dark is of the time for one comeback, but for Dreamcatcher, this is who they are. My dark rock angels of KPop.
You may want to check out Trailers 1 and 2 for Chase Me and Trailers 1 an 2 for Good Night before you go on to Good Night. They are short, but helpful. (And kind of eerie!) In general, the Dreamcatcher Trailers (not Teasers) are worthwhile - they stopped doing them after Deja Vu.

Some groups just have a very strong debut... but Dreamcatcher, specifically, had the significant advantages that most of their members had debuted before as Minx and, also, all of them are super talented. For Siyeon, specifically, the re-debut as Dreamcatcher meant that she got to stop pretending to be what the industry wanted and just be herself (I think Jiu very well might feel similarly, but Siyeon outright said as much in an interview). As to the meaning of "Chase Me"... it is a mini horror movie, basically. It's the girls trapped in their dream-world tormenting a ghost hunter in his dreams. The "To be continued" refers specifically to the story being picked up exactly where it left off in "Good Night." Note that "Fly High" is a prequel. It was released significantly later but provides setup for where "Chase Me" started.
This was the official debut MV for DreamCatcher. The date on the video says January 12th but some people keep saying it really dropped on Friday the Thirteenth (evven Wikipedia says that), which would have added to the Horror aspect... lol. The lore for the Nightmare arc started with this one. The next song is Good Night.

Out of the 40 groups that debuted in 2017 only a few including Dreamcatcher are still out there. And Dreamcatcher was the only group with a rock /metal theme with horror concept. They could've gone the usual girl crush /cutesy concepts, but they chose to be different.
They're not underrated, but under-appreciated back home, because rock /metal is not a popular genre among the masses. While it's massive in other countries. Which is why they are loved all over the world. But having said that, they are slowly, but surely, getting recognized in Korea, which was helped by their first wins for Maison and the concerts and tours.

Their first seven title videos are telling the nightmare story of the "curse of the spider-witch". It actually starts with the 3rd video ("Fly High") which serves as the prequel to "Chase me" and to the whole storyline in general, and ends up with "Deja-Vu".
"Deja Vu" is not part of the Nightmare Series, that song was a collaboration with the King's Raid mobile game.

Rock genre is already a minority in South Korea though there are/were some popular artists/groups with that genre: N.Ex.T, Crying Nut, No Brain, TraxX, CN Blue, FT Island, Norazo, Day6, etc. Also Taiji (& Boys) but they are kinda an exception as they are one of (or it is) the most popular group in SK (which, btw, Dreamcacther also made a cover of Taiji's song "시대유감" and it is awesome). But, a girl group with rock & spooky vibe? Now that's a first in kpop history. For a relatively small company like Happyface Ent., that was a really bold move but I'm happy they stick out with the concept (also the album sales were much better than MINX's so...). And another important thing is, the members are actually liking the group's concept.
When you get to Good Night I suggest their dance practice, like the actual dance practice in the practice room, not the dance performance, the beginning of it is 👌🏻🔥

Hearing you have the excitement I had when I found them is amazing. They never really come out and explicitly discuss their lore except for saying that they all represent certain nightmares. I wont lie, I wasn't able to discern what their nightmares were until they told us specifically. They have multiple lore though and I don't think you'll be disappointed at all with anything. When you go through the Korean MVs in order, I highly suggest checking out their Japanese ones, as they have some lore as well. (My personal favorite is Endless Night). I really suggest checking out their special clips and their dance practices as well. They are considered some of the most synchronized dancers in kpop as well, so you might enjoy that. It's a part of Nightmare Series. It's more like a Mental Health theme rather than horror story. Where the girls represent each different Phobia (which is a type of mental illness itself) & try to fight the demon within themselves. If they win, they will free & live a happy life...or if they lose, they will trapped in the darkness and became demon forever. That is why The Nightmare Series have 2 different ending (Piri & Breaking Out)

This is the beginning of the Nightmare series (Chase Me to Piri + Breaking out (japanese release - but canon in the lore). According to the theories about the full lore of the nightmare series that I know, this mv this mv is the third part the of nightmare series. (The first is Full Moon, the second one is Fly High)
The mv show the girls in their corrupted nightmare forms who are trapped in the hotel. The guy is a (nightmare) hunter sent to investigate the building and try to find some information about the girls.
After try seen Jiu by the camera he start investigating until he is tired and get nosebleed, then he decide to sleep. Since they are nightmares, they can appearing and disappearing and can't be seen with camera.
They can also entering his dreamworld, causing a nightmares when he is sleep. Then Sua and Dami 'play' their nightmare in his dreamworld. In the other side, each one of the other members annoy the hunter in real life. Then Yoohyeon is seen tormenting the corridor and adding to the mystery of room 808.
He analyses the evidences of their torments in real life and finds out the origin, that being room 808. And he knows he needs to get in to trap them, because he realises in here is how they do their work. This is the photo room of the mansion.
In the end, he finally find the room with their nightmare photo and he is smirking happily. The reason for they "chase" the hunter so he doesn't get the picture and the mistery about her is mentioned in another mv.
