Anything dealing with cooking that isn't basic "putting meat over a fire" is a real trip. You start to question everything. Mozzarella is a fresh cheese... probably one of the OG cheeses ever made. Who decided to add different things to the OG cheese and then MAKE IT SPOIL to make more cheese? And then they just thought it was ok to leave it in a cool dry place and have it grow moldy, then decided to eat it to see how it tastes. Were they not scared of dying? I couldn't live in those times lol
MommaShawna I did learn this in school. People used to use cow stomachs to store their milk before we had things like refrigerators and ice boxes. They found out that this curdled the milk and made cheese.
