Fun thing about NDAs… they aren’t worth much. They aren’t magic. If you breach the NDA, what are they going to do? Sue you? If they do admit that, then the lawsuit against you is the least of their worries. Great idea, horrible execution. The steam reviews are pretty telling.

zoo-grade meat blocks for home cooking? There's definitely gonna be a twist where either its made of people or its got whatever's messing up the animals inside it, and little Gina is probably gonna explode or something
The lockers in the break room have a bunch of horror director names on them! James Wan (SAW), Ridley Scott (Alien), David Cronenberg (The Fly), John Carpenter (The Thing), and Wes Craven(Scream) Each have done a fair bit of body horror too, which makes sense given the game this is.
I find it pretty weird that Paul lives in such dismal conditions that he'd prefer giving his daughter compacted food meant for animals rather than pre-packaged food that's safe for humans to eat. It makes you wonder, where are they living that the human-safe food is so bad they'd even consider stealing zoo food meant for animals.
1:13:46 I had the same "Wait but only these two were sick" Realization then I remembered that 3 of them were show symptoms when you open the enclosure. I genuinely like that detail cause when you get on the work loop you may end up forgetting or not noticing that the amount of sick looking animals is bigger than the amount of actually sick animals, but if you do notice it you can immediately tell which one is the mutant
i haven't finished the video yet and at 50:58 or so they mention "the mother" which reminds me of that one arg with happy meat farm. if you know the story of it you probably know what i'm talking about, and if you don't then i recommend watching the videos related to it. Edit: Just finished the video. Was pretty dissappointed on how short the game is. I even looked on steam for reviews of this game, right now it's mostly mixed but there are more negative reviews than positive. This game had some really good potential. Imagine having multiple days, each having different tasks while your infection progresses at the end of one. A time limit to make you value each shift, to manage the animals and find a way to make a cure for yourself once your character knows they're infected. Maybe your condition gets worse as you're working and you have to manage it through some temporary cure resource. Hell imagine having a mechanic where you can get fully infected in the shift, having to find a machine to revert the infection the same way as the animals... Hm this is weirdly reminding me a bit of scorn now thinking about it.
The boss did say the meat would calm temporarily. So managing your own infection could be similar to a vampire curse; feed to survive or eventually succumbing to becoming a mindless ghoul.
I feel like the introduction was great. I thought the game would introduce you more of the fighting mechanics on how you can kill each parasite like killing using this thing or something, but with much more spacious environments. The acting of these voices and animations weren't so great imo lol. Considering what they show in the trailers didn't make that much appearance in the final game , i thought we're going to have more cutscenes or build-up from these animals slowly turning into monsters.I still have somewhat hope that they can recycle the game to even much more vigorous state
the voices are AI unfortunately, it becomes more obvious later on where they occasionally switch up their "acting quality" from great one sentence to awful the next. also the fact that no VAs are credited and for the voice credits... the *names of the characters* are credited instead. which, pretty fucking scummy tbh!
@@deadlyadder2330 i looked this up after seeing your comment and the devs themselves said there is no AI used, plus steam makes it to where devs have to disclose if the game uses AI.
