They're individuals in an environment where people obsess with trending and since it is social media groups naturally form on it. The generation you're born in would probably affect what is considered socially acceptable behaviour due to trends but it would vary wildly because people are influenced more strongly by their immediate vicinity than what people are doing on the other side of the planet. Stereotypically speaking those of us who are Europeans tend to be seen as much more reserved than the US counterpart because of our environment being different to theirs.

you have a point, but the thing about jim carrey was that he was actually funny, these are all just assholes that never grew out of the phase of "omg! i want to be just like him!".
I think I can explain what's happening here, as a card carrying millennial. This is the generation that grew up on the first iteration of Cartoon Network, after transitioning from old Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry episodes. We also enjoyed Mr Bean's comedic antics. Hence the rubber faced expressions, ostentatious sound effects and impressions of animals. Add to that the ever-growing fear of aging wafting in the air like a sickening mist of desperation. We're heading into our 40's now and not all of us are aging with grace, I'm sorry to say. Edited to add: George asks how to avoid it happening to him. Here's how: Life is a series of chapters. As each chapter comes to an end, you must accept it, and welcome the next chapter. You have to let go of the privileges of the previous chapter, and look forward to the privileges that come with the new one.
@@ducksmango you could not be more wrong. You will see boomers, and gen x people behave this way as well. Like I said this is not a generational thing. It's classic internet brain rot. I'm a millennial and I didn't get my first mobile phone until I was 12. It was a Motorola flip phone that did not have access to the internet. All I could do was message or call people or play some cool retro games like snake. This generation of kids are on average given a phone or tablet at the age of 3-5 There are kids younger than 6 on social media. People are sheep who follow trends because they don't want to feel left out. The only thing that has changed over the generations is the technology.

What did george say, I'm not on Instagram
@user-lz6vh8bz2d alex was accused of abusing his ex girlfriend. A youtuber called morepegasus made a pretty good video about it
@@Mjlover7-com.i’m pretty sure that he said he would wait for both parties to comment and that would be a horrible thing for alice to go through
I think I can explain what's happening here, as a card carrying millennial.
Here's how:
Life is a series of chapters. As each chapter comes to an end, you must accept it, and welcome the next chapter. You have to let go of the privileges of the previous chapter, and look forward to the privileges that come with the new one.
This isn't a generational thing
This is just a tik tok phone zombies thing.
every millennial ive seen is like this online or not
For a genuation that wasn't born with the Internet
@@ducksmango you could not be more wrong.
You will see boomers, and gen x people behave this way as well.
Like I said this is not a generational thing. It's classic internet brain rot.
I'm a millennial and I didn't get my first mobile phone until I was 12.
It was a Motorola flip phone that did not have access to the internet. All I could do was message or call people or play some cool retro games like snake.
This generation of kids are on average given a phone or tablet at the age of 3-5
There are kids younger than 6 on social media.
People are sheep who follow trends because they don't want to feel left out.
The only thing that has changed over the generations is the technology.
@@GojiraBiscuits. of course youre a fucking millenial lmfaoooooo
@@ducksmangoMost millennials are not like this. I'm a millennial and I have never met anyone who acts like that. I think OP is right, it's brain rot from being chronically online.
my favourite thing about being born in 1995 is that I can claim I'm either a zoomer or a milennial depending on which suits me better at the time
That fuck me was straight from kitchen nightmares
the “mommyofthebees” video at 5:38 is sadly TAME compared to her other videos. i’d rather her make stupid faces instead of (yes, she’s done this) trash her house, write on the walls, waste food and so much more in order to get a reaction while her family tries to mind their business in the background. anyway, she needs to see a therapist or something because she shouldn’t be doing all that while she has a child she should be taking care of
One time she got her friend to harass me on TikTok because of a comment I posted about her (true story)
She looks like an absolute bell end
4:28 interesting sound you made there
i’m so glad i’m not the only one who thought that-
zamn !!!!
6:44 talking about Eminem shows a picture of tom Holland 😂
Pissed myself when George realised that woman was gonna rap🤣🤣🤣
Another painful watch. Thanks, George!
Not Alex's shenanigans causing all the good TH-camrs to go on a hiatus 🙄😔
Nah it's because he's at Disneyland. He says it somewhere in this video
Never heard domestic abuse be referred to as 'shenanigans' before...
You mean severe domestic abuse?
@@raynaives9804 Just a bitta banta.
Being born in 97 I feel like I fall between Gen Z and Millennium rather than being properly part of either
I was born in 1998. I cringe at both millennials and zoomers
11:17 the girl in the back 😂😂😂
This isn't a generational thing. This is an "influencer" thing. They're all cringe.
Completely agree. I'm an older millennial and can't stand any of these people. (Edited for typo)
I’m an older millennial and I agree, it’s all about being an “influencer” on tiktok.
agreee, cause my mom doesn't act like this
i'm kind of inoculated against some of these (the 28yo toddler, pumpkin spice cream cheese, taylor swift gets to be smol girl) because they are The Face of millennial cringe. i've seen them several times
I remember like 10 years ago when millennials were growing into adulthood and they were all saying stuff like "adulting is hard" & "am I adulting right?"
These were the early warning signs
millennials constantly say that gen z is trying to cancel eminem because they “never listened to them” and being offended but the generation after gen z, gen alpha, is actually the ones that get offended over everything and what generation raised them, the millennials who had kids at 35-40 years old and let them get raised by an ipad. even i noticed that they get offended by everything especially. since my cousins are gen alphas who were raised on ipads
I think we should cancel Eminimen JUST to punish the millennials in this video for being so cringe
Sorry Mr Slim, you're collateral 😔
We should cancel jojo
he would understand
@@skootergirl22I mean she stole from tool
I would like to personally apologise for sending in that fish face one.. I feel like I ruined your day 😂
Millenials are fighting air about Houdini
These made me cringe so hard I looked like I was in a vacuum-sealed package.
I think people who think gen z is offended by anything are just insecure. Like people dont get offended by everything are just ragebaiting
i am offended by the majority of these clips
This is the most pain George has ever been through 💀
I love how you can tell that George is making those exact faces under the mask ‼️‼️‼️
The cringeometer exploded on viewing these.
Do none of these people remember how offensive Eminem was back in the day, being pretty homophobic and controversial, before he sang with Elton John and 8 Mile came out and he was accepted?
0:40 "nostalgia"
*eminem song that came out less than a month ago*
There saying Eminem is nostalgic if your not joking
i get that alex is getting cancelled but you gotta post. this is gonna sound weird but I sleep to your videos so like 6 days without a vid I'm going crazy
omg i sleep to his videos as well i’m just listening to really old ones rn 😭
i rub myself to his vids
These do not represent all millennials, these are the 'I don't want to adult' ppl
this is a very millennial comment
Well, for a genuation that didn't grow up with technology like today's we're truly cringe😂
these are american tiktokers first
i’m sorry but this comment is so millennial
@@EthanChmielewski-s6h Can I just ask, as a gem z, what the hell that's supposed to mean?
George: lets watch cringe vids!
Also George: *cringes* im not watching that.
😂😂😂
I am Gen Z, and I met another Gen Z on X about cancelling any rapper who had misogynistic lyrics 😭🙏
"when your generation doesn't even know proper sentences " made me laugh.
Make a video “imalex has hit a new low” like the old days
That would be fun for us but I think that it must be really difficult for George to navigate this situation and know the right message to portray.
My ex's friends had no idea what a monster he was, they hide it very well that's how the abuse can continue.
sometimes i feel bad for them for being so out of touch, but then i remember they’re the same people that give their children ipads and then i just get angry
isnt taylor swift like 5'11 bro how is she "smol gurl"
Idk i think shes like 5 inches shorter than travis kelce so shes shorter compared to him than her old boyfriends i think
Ahh yes, slobbering over Harry Potter and Disney for no reason, over-exxagerating cancle culture and making weird voices. The pillars of Milennials.
Dude, you are a brave, brave man. We only have to see these when we watch the video but you had to edit these together for who knows how long… Mad props!
I hate face humour.
I hate lip-synching.
I hate "funny" voices.
I hate everybody equally.
4:43 I can imagine gru saying this and I fucking hate it
As a 1985 Millennial, I would like to disown any association with people like those featured in this video. The embarrassment is actually painful.
I'm a millennial, and these videos give me black out level rage.
1:31 I hate those ppl who try and mimic the original wacky baker. I forget his handle but he makes old time recipes
Dylan hollis?
Hey George have you heard of the recent allegations made against Alex? They're quite worrying....

The shame I felt watching this as a 32 year old millennial was real.
And the fact that a Harry Potter meet and greet would actually get me onto that road 😂
8:20 George's immediate reaction to hearing the "I hopped into a coffee shop" song being that he wanted to blow up the entire generation that popularised it is so ridiculously overdramatic yet so real 😭
6:35 finally someone who agrees😭 I hate these audios
Everyone agrees
8:22 valid point George 😂
I don't understand the millenial obsession with the jim carrey and minion personality crossover.
TikTok enables theatre kids, and theres theatre kids in every generation.
the lady at 3:15.... i have a friend and both she and her mum act like this on occasion. 30s and 50s the both of them. it's made me cringe for a decade at least.
