how to repair the fully corroded column using micro concrete &carbon fiber wrapping, step by step procedure ...
1.First Remove the plastering in the column.
2.Remove the rust in the column and give one coating for that rods.
3.Applying bonding chemical to the surface.
4.Pour Micro concrete and allow it to cure for one day.
5.Apply Epoxy Coating to the micro concrete surface and wrap the carbon fiber sheet to the column.
6.Sprinkle the sand and do the plastering work.

The wrapping has not gone all around. It can not therefore provide any strengthening by virtue of confinement. It is only providing a moisture resistant coating on 3 sides which may or may not arrest further corrosion. The corrosion will continue anyway if it is due to chloride contaminated concrete

Leave it for few hours, once epoxy hardened then you go as you wish.

Retrofitting needs technical supervision and analysis. The effect on stiffness and deflection needs to be checked, else it may lead to loss of life and property. Without proper analysis it shouldn’t be practiced.
We made analysis after that only we decided to go for this method
