Scrap man has played satisfactory before but they should totally do a multiplayer series on it. Satisfactory is one of my favourite games so they should 100% do it.
2 things I wish they implemented: - another slider on the gas engine to balance between acceleration and speed (or maybe just to adjust acceleration) - extended WS-controls on the controller, so S also works without loop-mode. Selfmade WS-converters are a pain, most of the time clunky and/or unreliable.
gas engine slider adjust torque while an electric engine adjust speed. just use a electric engine to get a different speed. as for w/s converters they're super reliable, maybe you're just building old school ones
@@iceboundglaceon see, I really don't like glitchwelding, I usually play all vanilla and if it was for me Axolot should get rid of suspension glitch. Glitches are mistakes in the source code after all, but many converters require them*. I myself used a vertically spinning suspension centrifuge on a mining vehicle that isn't a lot bigger than kAN's buggy in this series. I took this design from a video by Cubus32. It is one of the easier designs and works pretty reliable, but in return uses a lot of space for spinning, plus another electric engine. It also likes to make SM's typical and annoying hitting noises. Especially for people that are even less skilled than me, like younger players and beginners, there should be an easier way to implement tank steering or full WASD flying controls. And regarding engines... I am definitely not going to implement both types in my survival vehicles ^^ *edit: or risk causing them by applying rotational forces against static parts

honestly blueprints EXACTLY as they are in creative except you need the resources in your inventory would do sooooo much for survival, if we just take this playthrough as an example: you wouldnt have to have all the vehicles spawned at once you could just delete them and spawn them with the resources whenever you need, which would do alot for lag friendlyness
i feel like that would make everything feel abstract and less "real" you wouldn't think of it as getting into your car, you would think of it as getting into a copy of that car you made once

The bobcat really is the best solution; some guy called ScrapMan (maybe you've heard of him) did a nomad survival series where he found out that having the drills on the same vehicle as the collectors caused the drills to be less effective.
You could add a floating trailer, that you can just back up into the pond of water/chemicals. The trailer could have the pumps, and reduce the risk of falling into the liquid. It would be cool, if there was a flexibe item tube.
If you do the warehouse base, an idea on where you can do crops. I found certain islands with the big pillar structure on it, if land isn't nearby you can plant crop there and no bots will spawn for the raids.
If you guys wanted to combine mining and refining you could just pull the arms off of the miner, make them a bit longer and a bit wider, then attach them to the refiner. Also; yeah, your refiner is missing blocks because a tapebot was shooting at the seat.

With the blueprints they could try and implement a system where if you have the needed blocks/items in your inventory you can build your blueprints in survival and when you disassemble (Delete) your creation it puts all the blocks in your inventory and if you don’t have enough inventory space it won’t disassemble.
I am currently building a loading system to bring parts out of the warehouse, as long as you clean up ,,the lag isnt terrible, with some reduced settings,,,keep em comin!
i wonder if you guys should build a factory. just to watch chemicals and water flow through pipes also would be neat to see a vehicle that launches or wrecks red bots so you don't have to waste as many spuds.
You're talking about reprogramming bots, and being able to turn creative creations into blueprints. What if it was factorio-style where you can place a blueprint, but you need to have a collection of construction robots (like a reprogrammed tote bot) to actually build it.
22:00 bearings stop instantly when you exit a vehicle and will not move but will freespin when inside a seat connected to the engine (at least i think)
engines, controllers(set to loop) and steering bearings(set to lock) turn off but don't lock up entirely. like a gas engine will have resistance on the bearing based on the torque setting. otherwise catapults and bearing flex suspension wouldn't be possible. besides they were more referring to how objects slide on slopes
In space engineers you can basically make a mobile anything my personal favorite is the mobile drill rig just think along the lines of MAZ truck carrying a drill like a missile
I made something like that with large blocks. Drove it around the planet, a massive mobile base with a drill hundreds of feet long. Thought it was an original idea :(

That’d be cool if you could tame them with component kits or something harder to get for higher tier bots then the Totebots farm normal crops, haybots farm higher tier crops, farmbot mine and refine wood, rock, and metal, and tapebots for defense.
mining machines are worse when they have collectors and refineries, its a weird thing that happens, it would be so much slower to have collecters on it, check scrapmans nomadic mining episode
also on the topic of an all-in-one mining vehicle: dont. as soon as you have a resource collector and drills on the same vehicles, the drills are utter garbage, dont believe me? try it
12 stacks and 16 chemicals/water = 1 stack of cracked stone So in order to process 1 full chest worth of cracked stone you would need 13 chests of chemicals/water.
Get the fant mod. Adds so much more to the game. Things that honestly should be a thing. Also optimizes the game to give you better performance. Also chapter 2 will not come out in a good while. And your current world will probably not be usable in chapter 2
