- Hey everyone back with more Scrap Mechanic Survival! Today Kosmo and I are airlifting our tank to a warehouse in order to loot it efficiently! Getting a tank to a distant warehouse is usually a huge pain but with the helicopter we are going to transport it in style! @darealkosmo

I SUSPECT that tank need some re-design. Just a bit.
I did give the guys some advice on how to do exactly that after their first episode with the tank in it. In hindsight, this was probably better.
My friend and I both had twin thruster flyers and neither had enough power to lift our tank. We ended up welding both to the tank and flew in tandem. It was very difficult to control as expected but it worked.

They did something like that, but not mechs. Mechs would be really hard to build.

Build a tank out of cardboard, bring a lot of replacement parts and do a 3 story warehouse run with it.

Cut the front half off and put a Mountable spud gun hidden in the frame and you got a Power Armor.
Only problem is that the explosive red tapebots can destroy the spudgun and the tapebots have a small chance(RNG based) of destroying the mountable spud gun
But they are so end game that they might as well try it :)

btw. rammed a red bot in my favorite mining vehicle yesterday and eventually I ended up, upside down, with the red guy exploding dead center in by vehicle blowing it up... just got a flashback now seeing your tank blow up :D Fun stuff.

Put a bed on the helicopter.
If you die or it flys off without you. Your always gonna spawn on the helicopter, then just wait until it runs out of fuel or let the other guy fly you around as you sleep
Could you use armored glass for the gunner? Or is it destructible
That would be good but Armored glass has low durability
Sadly armored glass only has 4 durability points, metal 3 has 8
Well it's a simple engineering and physics solution. The bolts on the bottom of the gunner's floor raises them up by half a block, so now the top of the gunner's cage provides half a block less of vertical protection and concealment. . . . The simplest solution would be to add bolts to the top of the gunner's cage to replace that half block that the floor bolts "take away".
I'm not sure if I want to even chalk up the "Oversight Counter" for this episode. "We've got a bed, we don't need baguettes." "We're fine we'll just land on this 4 story warehouse and refuel." "I thought level 5 seats were indestructible." "The bolts take away visibility." "Our steering was connected to the seat." "I thought wheels would survive explosions." . . . . I'm not criticizing you at all. I'm just pointing out caution pissed into the wind is most likely bound set off one's own petard. And great shall be the hoisting that commences. At this point, definitely consider adding applique armor (the green garment boxes) to the front of the tank.They have the same durability value as metal 3 but so much less weight. That or warehouse keys.
just for fun you should make a bomber plane that you can drop a kosmo-controlled nuke out of to one shot the big red farmbots

Only just seen this video but the initial take off gave me massive Dune vibes -- a carry-all lifting a spice harvester off at a spice field after worm sign.

Multiplayer Monday idea: dev mode for building in survival: each of you builds a section of a maze with explosive bot spawners. Run time trials
Just cause yall so progressed in that world, you should make a new aircraft, perhaps a chinook-like shape, where you can walk around a small interior whilst floating, sounds cool, but it will be a gas guzzler...XD (like your heli so you can float with adjustable thrust angles), just alot bigger and probably a second stabilizer glitch or somethin)
when the seat gets blown up, you can see the suspension glitch just chillin on the ground. lol!
By far the best episode ever
You could have a spot in the centre of the floor without bolts, that you can stand on for visibility, then mode forward for shooting. And, if you find a replacement for the suspension glitch, you could replace the floor of the tank with a bed, and move the bed to in front of the last elevator before going up, to keep it safe from explosives.
The range of explosive tape seems to be only 5 blocks. If a piston is installed at the rear of the tank to push a level 3 metal shield with 6 blocks support arm, it will stretch when facing the explosive tape, and it should be able to withstand the attack.

Using the flyer under the water was so cool. Could you guys do a submarine propeled by underwater rockets like so?
That is saddly the only way to proppel yourself in the water currently, with rockets. Sadly because they use a crapton of grind-acquired component kits and guzzle fuel like there is no tomorow for... only decent thrust.

As completely hilarious and entertaining to watch as that was, I did tell you guys weeks ago to fill in the gaps on that tank, give it a roof and dump the drivers seat, which would have avoided everything that happens in this video.
To be fair, this was way funnier than it would have been so maybe you guys shouldn't upgrade it after all.
I mean at that point, it'd just be a brick on wheels, nowhere to shoot out of and no way to drive it.

That would work better, as long as they fill in the gaps and get rid of the driver seat. They'll have to use a mountable spudgun, if they want to destroy the bots.

I have an idea, Instead of a second person being the gunner, what if the driver has control of a turret and the second person could go on foot as back-up.
You could one block higher and put bolts inside window
Idea for the tank upgrade: why dont u try putting the bolts only on the half of the gunner's area and leave the rest without, you d see them from the back and shoot them when u take a step on the bolts

hey kan ,can you make a helipad on top of the tree house i think that's a great idea
If you make the walls of the tank 1 block higher and use glass right above the gunner opening, you’ll have double the visibility and still be able to shoot, that is assuming there is unbreakable glass.

Hear me out: a box bot. It's in the warehouse and has poor damage but can go inside a box/it's body and be protected from the player's hits
