She has pointed questions. Zelenskyi answered seemingly hostile questions well. This is what good journalists are supposed to do... Ask difficult enough questions and provide platform for the interviewee to respond to make clear their views. I think western people are so used to the woke media's buddy buddy approach to interviews or full on attack mode to their perceived enemies... E.g. FOX and CNN journalists, if we can even call them that.
I doubt Ann Marie made up the questions herself on the spot, she was simply given them. Interesting to note however she landed her current position 'DURING' the pandemic, in fact during lockdown.... I'd imagine that was an interesting interview!

We’re not talking about what russia has obtained during its imperial period (lands and their raw materials) but what the russians BELIEVE (what is not true in reality) they came from…the so called ‘Kievan rus’ which originally is only ‘Rus’ (located in Kyiv all the same), so that’s why they stole and adopted the name, originally it was Moscovia (Muskovy).
They even transformed the saying “Kyiv - mother of Rus’ cities” (true) into “Kyiv - mother of russian cities” (false). It’s the russians who fear to loose control over Kyiv because of the history they have created and manipulated. It’s in their own minds that loosing Ukraine is compared to loosing their historical roots.

You will have to understand how this works technically, Ukraine exports electricity. Yet the full electrical network in Ukraine, consists of many separate ones. It is not that you can take the exportable energy and lead it to your own people, since that is technically not possible, and will not be possible on short term. Secondly Ukraine has important energy contracts, which it needs to hold on to. Not just as for income reasons, but also not to undo those contracts and loose faith of it's importers.
