I have a Glock 19 Gen 4 and I have NEVER had a single glitch, hiccup, or any kind of problem with it. It's the only pistol I own that fires every single time I pulled the trigger. Awesome pistol.
Great gun definitely 💪....get a Taurus G3C as your deep concealment Backup pistol, it's just as Reliable as Glock. Try it you'll agree. Good luck mate!
Well said, and equally agreed ! I love the simplicity of gun, no external safety, their work horses as any other handgun, durability and easily customizable. The 380 and 9mm are personal favorites.
When I was a deputy sheriff I exclusively carried Glocks. I owned a model 17 & 22. These weapons are extremely accurate, light weight and, I never once had a round jam in either one. Both of my Glocks were 1st generations.
Shoots first time EVERY time! Right out of the box. I sold all my 1911's and my 9mm Glocks because I fell in love with the 21 in 45 acp. Now I have a model 30 sf ( short frame) and it's my favorite. Easy to conceal and shoots as good as my full size 21. Best gun ever made.
Just bought my first Glock (a 17 gen 4) a few weeks ago. I cleaned it took it to the range and I'm impressed with the trigger reset way better than the M&P. Yes I also purchased a 33 round "fun stick" for it as well. I also like the fact that you can shoot 22 LR with conversion kit. I think what ultimately drew me to Glock is the huge aftermarket and factory support as ease of field strip and detail strip.
Bought my first Glock ever, a couple weeks ago. I was popping bullseyes out of the box at 10 yards. Something I have never done with any gun. I had never given them a chance, due to all the haters spouting their crap. I was influenced. Decided to see for myself what the "fanboys" (as the haters call Glock lovers) were talking about. I have been assimilated. Now, I will always own Glock.
I did a lot of research and found out HK makes the best guns for the money. i switched from HK to glock because i am also very accurate with Any glock. ive shot a 9mm, 20, 21, 22, 23, 29, 30, 36, even the new 40. i feel betrayed by HK when i found out they dont really make a 10mm pistol. i felt like .40SW really stands for Short and Weak. i wish Santa would bring my a glock 29 gen4 10mm.
oh yeah, i forgot, never had any problems with any of the glocks ive handled and even my gen 3 20sf is just fine. reliable as HK cant argue that. love glock
davidrx795 if you dont do stupid shit to it, it will last for very long time. Does HK uses better material, yes, will it outlast a glock, yes. Are you going to push it to the limit just to see? Im not. But here are a few reasons i went with glock Im very accurate with any glock that i pick up. Low bore axis, love it. After holding a glock HK feels taller. It shoots 10mm, that right there was the tipping point. HK has no 10mm handguns available. Even Sig made a p220 in 10mm if im correct. Interchangeable magazines, and plenty of accessories available for glocks. Extended magazine is about 50 bux, i was going to order an extended one for my p2000, it is 100 plus dollars. Makes no sense when i can get 2 for same price from glock. HK still feels better in my hand, so i left it to guard mom haha. I havent carried an HK in over a year since i switched to 10mm glocks. Also, if you like .45acp the compact g30 offers 10 plus 1 capacity, while the HK45c is only 7 or 8 plus 1 and weighs way more. Sorry HK is pretty and all, but glock gets the job done!!!
Loved Glock from the day i laid eyes on them as a kid... and as an adult... Glock is all i want... sure your other brands might look "cooler" but in a life and death moment.. how cool your gun looks matters about as much as the size of your shoe.
Mister Miney Agreed, its all about reliability and accuracy e.g can i depend on it....yup I can. If i had a choice, i'd take an FN Five-seveN or maybe FNX or FNS 9. Because FN is a company I've used alot and depended my life on in the military. But at the price the Glock is an absolutely solid choice (although the FNS 9 is usually cheaper and better than a 19), utilitarian does the job, you can depend on it. If people hate on it, they are concerned about image or some crazy reason (some pseudo-justification BS), You've got to respect something reliable and solid like this.
6 Glocks in. Glock 21 Gen 2, Glock 30SF Gen 3, Glock 19 Gen 3, Glock 19X, Glock 29SF Gen 4, and my recent baby Glock 45 MOS. Love them all, not one regret.
I bought a G17 FDE gen 4 a couple of days ago. It's my first Glock purchase, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. People say they're uncomfortable and they're ugly, but I actually find them to be quite the opposite. I like the monolithic, unassuming look. It screams quality.
You bought the best all around handgun in the world. Glock is literally the AK47 of handguns. It doesn't do anything perfectly, but it does a lot of things GOOD ENOUGH or REALLY WELL.
Same here. I was led to my first handgun purcase - a Glock 26 Gen 3 strictly by research. All of my research for reliability, price, and small enough to carry kept leading to the Glock 26. I did shoot a few other guns, but my research was dead on, so I purchased the Glock 26 gen 3. I now have the Gen 4 and love it.
My first experience with the Glock was in 1986. As far as I know there were no other firearms using polymer frames so it was quite a conversation piece. It was so light compared to anything else I had handled. Little did I realize at the time, how popular they would become. Love them or hate them, they are good value for the money and reliable in my opinion.
I love mine. Carried them at work and started loving them then. But, I am a big believer in getting what YOU want. It's your money and you should have what YOU like.
I love my Glock 17 9 mm. Reliable. What I REALLY like about it is how easy and "goof proof" it is to disassemble, clean and re assemble. I'm a Glock fan.
all those other guns have roll pins except the glock you can simply change any part in the whole gun in minutes and you can make the glock just the way you like it instantly and there mags are second to none.
Apparently he doesn't comment much. I really like Glock but I have heard great things about the Walthers. I think I'm going to try a Sig 2022 or FNX next.
BillMcKn if you are in a state that limits magazine capacity, consider .45 caliber. Since they force you to give up the higher capacity of most Glock models, you might as well make each bullet count, the. 45s being 230 grains. I like the model 30, consider slim Frame, for CONCEALED Carry.
BillMcKn I have had a Walther PPX and shoot a Glock 19. The PPX has a high bore Axis and is ugly but shoots pretty well and the price is right. If you want a carry pistol go with the Glock 19. If you want a home defense gun at a good price and a good shooter get the PPX. I think walther has a good PPX rebate now. You get a extra mag and holster plus mag holster. I sold mine and got the PPQ and P99. both great pistols. If you are set on the Glock 19 and PPX i would say Glock 19.
I bought my first pistol without ever handling it beforehand. Probably not a good idea but I got lucky. My Glock 26 has been a dream to shoot and it's my EDC. Love it!
They were "cheap," but now for the price of a new one, Nope... I'm calling them out, I wouldn't buy it for what they are charging for it nowadays, looks like rampant success has gone to their heads with greed. There are plenty of other guns out that are knocking Glock off the pedestal in terms of bang per buck. This coming from a guy that has 5 Glock handguns...
@@ClashClans-hn7vx This is what I keep thinking!!! You're the only one to say it. If we can tolerate an ugly gun that's made of plastic because it's reliable, why not tolerate an ugly gun made of zinc that's reliable! Did you see that Hi Point review where the guy tosses the poor thing into the frog pond, finally finds it again (!) and it's working fine with water and tadpoles pouring out of it.... I don't have a hi-point, but I did get a little Phoenix Arms .22, it seems to be roughly the same deal- made of Zinc castings, a little rough, but you can get it working, and parts seem to be like five bucks, and people claim to have tens of thousands of rounds through them! I haven't had the time, but mine seems to work once I FILED off some rough parts. I mean, I'm thinking of BUYING a Hi Point pistol just to piss everyone else off, and just to see what it will do!
@@leonardpearlman4017 Would that be the Hi Point firearms company who's highest capacity 9mm is 8 rounds? The company that makes the 8 round gun that somehow weighs more than the Glock 19 which can carry 15? No thanks.
@Bo Zi my glock 19 will eat a cz alive it has a type2 rmr.crissiom trace lasergrip.4.6 inch barrel and muzzle break snd also a 3.5 pound trigger job by johnny glock . so yea a cz is better out the box but you buy a glock to modify it to what you want a pistol to be
Just got a Glock 19, had my first range class yesterday, and can't wait to shoot this gun again. thanks for your reviews, your bloopers at the end, and especially your sign off. God bless you.
@@christinedavid007 Contrary to common belief, women should not get small handguns. Smaller handguns are actually more difficult to manage, because of lighter weight and shorter barrel, leading to less manageable recoil and lower precision. Having said that, it is impossible to recommend anything unless you say what it's for. Target practice? Concealed carry? Home defense gun? No gun will be best at everything. One rule trumps all, though. Pick up a pistol. Close your eyes, and aim towards a wall. Open your eyes and watch the sights. If it points naturally towards the target and feels good in your hands, that's very important. Pick up and shoot as many guns as possible before purchase. And pick a caliber that you are comfortable shooting. Don't believe the idiots claiming you need at least a .45ACP or a .50AE. All common pistol calibers, except the .22 and weaker, will take down an opponent. Shot placement and the number of rounds you can fire at rapid pace is much more important than caliber.
Bought a model 22 in 1992. Still have it. But there were sooo many in the community that hated on them with constant remarks about a plastic handgun. I would love to hear from those people now. I'm sure they now own a "plastic gun".
i made the mistake of my first glock being a 30SF as a concealed carry, and dont get me wrong, it was not a bad gun in and of itself, but 45 cal in a sf is not for a concealed carry owner who has not done copious amounts of training and practice. (as any carrier should) In my opinion that caliber needs to have a full frame for consistent accuracy. I recognized that it was ignorant of me to carry a gun i wasn't extremely accurate with, and when I tried a 9 mil variant (first 9 i ever owned) i immediately recognized the value in glocks insane versatility and options and immediately fell in love. Sidenote everything changed once I touched CZs though :)
In the UK we didn't fight hard enough for our gun rights and now have the VCR ''Violent Crime Reduction Act 2007, and as a law abiding gun loving person I cant even own a imitation fire arm, we can also go to prison in the UK for saying words, basically thought crimes, so enjoy your freedoms friend with your lovely guns, PS if I had the choice I'd just have to have the Colt 1911
2 things I've learned from watching hours and hours of gun reviews on youtube: Don't underestimate the american citizen and no gun law will EVER disarm this country. PERIOD.
G S stfu another Twat thinking he knows best! I bet your a vegan feminist? Did yah boyfriend let you use the internet to write your comment?? AGAIN YOU F-UP gun law restrictions will do absolutely ZERO to combat crimes! Bad people will get guns ILLEGALLY to commit crimes. Go to yah safe place snowflake and cry
***** I was being sarcastic...geez.... I don't like glocks cause they are light weight and yes, I could pop someone upside the head with my .500 js duh!
The Muffin Mann I still like my smiths....guess I was a cowgirl in a past life. Give me a wheel revolver and my Henry any day of the week. I am good to go!
I like Glocks. I DON'T like people that think they are the best without question. Glocks USED to be one of the best polymer framed pistols. Now, MANY companies have improved on the Glock design, and Glock has fallen behind.
I have had 4 glock 21 pistols i keep coming back so i decided to stick with the last one i bought everyone i have had has been extremely reliable and accurate i like them so much i decided to get a glock 26 knowing how reliable it is gives me that piece of mind that i can trust what i am carrying
I have a gen 1 Glock 17, bought it when I was a police officer because it was the option the department gave me. So why not own what I would carry for work. You guys will probable won't believe me, but I paid only $225 for mine in 1987. I went through Glock's Armour course and their firearms instructor course as well. I went on to get my to get my Federal Firearms Instructor's certificate at FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center) after that with my Glock 17. While I was at FLETC I obtained a Distinguished Weapons Expert Certificate. I have since bought a carbine conversion for my Glock which is super cool to have, believe me on that. I still have it and it is still performing like it did when I first bought it over 33 years ago. I stand behind it. Great video.
Because it's the Toyota of the gun world, it works, they gave countless amounts to police forces, it has countless aftermarket parts, high capacity! ( never liked Glocks ) but I am the exemption, lots of people love them.
Nowadays, many pistols are just as reliable as Glocks. I love my SW MP 2.0 compact. I may try one out though just because of the ease of finding holsters and other accessories and services.
@@thedistance1155 What's Sven is really saying is that he has something against striker-fired pistols, because he thinks a 6 pound trigger is trash, but a 10 pound initial trigger pull with 5 pound follow-up trigger pulls is amazing.
Just purchased my first brand new generation 3 Glock 19 the best never thought I'd have enough bread to cover this they're expensive but they're worth it I now own the Rolex Rolls-Royce of striker fire polymer frame pistols and I love it
Classy video. Good presentation. Glocks have one huge advantage. Under strees if a round is chambered, a home owner points and shoots with little manipulation. The more I shoot Glocks the more I respect Gaston Glock who to me is close to John Moses Browning in genius engineering.
I bought a new gen4 g17 today went straight to the range and shot 200 rounds awesome gun loving it so far I hope in 8 years I can say the same thing you said
I own 3 Glocks. I originally bought a Glock because of it's simplicity, no safety, no BS. Put your finger on the trigger when you want to shoot. Nothing to remember, no fail to fire, just a simple gun. It was the perfect move from a revolver but with higher capacity.
The gen3 G17 will always have the biggest place in my heart as it was my first ever gun that i purchased myself. I’m young’ 23y/o and forever grateful to live in texas which has constitutional carry, thank god. I now own the most of the pistols seen within the video not just including the glocks and tbh this man couldn’t have been more correct! it all comes down to personal preference don’t get what’s most popular or cool get yourself a sidearm that offers you confident protection. As for myself yes “Glock” is MY favorite and although there’s many legitimate reasons why it is the most popular gun ITW it isn’t my first choice based on that popularity! nor is it based on the opinion of others. It is my experience that any glock in the right hands can be 2nd to none! it’s what i find most comfortable and what i’m most confident in! i know that no matter the conditions i can rely on it to always function as it should! rain, mud, dirt, sand, water etc… My glocks have always performed. Lastly i want to reiterate to anyone searching for a new pistol to do as the video suggests and hold all sorts of different pistols, find what fits you best and let the final decision be predicated on your own experience. There us nothing wrong with being that guy. The infighting within this community is our biggest weakness, I am a single issue advocate and hate it. If people feel unsafe because someone didn't feel like setting up for concealed carry that day, it's your problem; not theirs. Maybe if Gun education was mandatory things would be better, but I could see them bungling that all up and making I worse.... Idk, but please don't hate open carry guy, or my kind who print like typewriters (and still no-on notices. I even went to show a security guard my holster was empty cause I thought he was eyeing it, as it prints about the same without the gun.... Walmart nylon with shoestrings ratchet straps, srategic holes in all my pants, but I am rambling.... as he us clearly on our team ND showing people it's OK. I was told to "double check it was legal even lol, I know no-one more versed in gun law than myself. Idk, my point is idc what color, hobbies, creed, or anything else a person does/has/is as long as their not with the whiny gun grabbers (who used your dame argument to try to ban open carry in parks, I spoke against it.... not saying that's why it failed but there us a corollary between the bills hey let me speak on and which ones fail. Open carry guy Concealed but loose guy Super concealed guy Leaves it in his car or backpack guy Scared to carry but supports others guy All allies should be accepted, only scorn the behavior that rightfully hurts our image (litterbugs are high on the list, as are senseless murderers and other bad stuff) Open carry may hurt are image with some, but it shows others it's OK. Also, with the proliferation of home gunsmithing the monetary barrier to entry has dropped dramatically. Not to long now that $50 ccp/ccw/cpl/ whatever a state calls the unconstitutional permit necessary for concealing will be the most expensive part of the process. *at the very least you must see that it also alienates people to not support open carry, and in some states could make the difference between being legal to carry or not* Please, please consider decenting the high horse that you and so many others have taken to mounting. If ol Bubba likes to keep his 12 gauge on him, it's his choice and we should respect it and him.
Your 23 and trying to tell people how to live? My guy if you are bothered by open carry, that is on you, not the one open carrying. The one open carrying is likely knowingly taking on extra risk and giving up the element of surprise to normalize guns. Or maybe can't afford a permit like I said above. Where the hell do you get off judging how people invoke their God given right. (It also let's me know that is probably a good guy to have a beer with, as most non-internet warrior gun guys are) I am absolutely appalled the former norm, the largest way to show 2a support, the simple inaction of not hiding your gun is something prominent voices will throw shade on. But your barely an adult youtube commenter, and thought "this is a good idea to type up, let's just throw many of or allies under the gun grabbers bus because "it's scary" Get over it, and have some freaking humble pie. Some people watching are old enough to be your daddy, and your *telling* them what is right and wrong..... I'm perplexed you exist good sir, I guess do whatever you want but the attacking of our own does bother me greatly.
Best, most honest review I've ever seen. Unbiased, and extremely informative. I share the same views, I enjoy all different types of pistols. Sure I have a preference and am more drawn to a Sig, but I also own a 17 and a 19 and love them as well. Thank you for not making another "super fanboy Glock is the only pistol anyone should own" kind of video.
Out of all the guns I’ve owned I’ve sold or traded all my colts, beretta and Smith & Wesson at some point....I bought my first Glock 19 almost 13 years ago ....now I own 4 Glocks and I wouldn’t, couldn’t sell or trade none of them I love my Glocks til death do us part ...fuck it bury me with my Glocks
To this day I have no clue why so many people hate Glocks. I try to be open minded but I have yet to see a truly valid reason. And I’m not someone that hates on other handguns - just… baffled is all. And “it looks ugly” is not a valid reason when it comes to tools. It’s not jewelry you show off day in, day out. First and foremost it needs to be reliable and durable.
I'll tell you why I love My Glock. Besides the fact that it's dead reliable, It is the easiest gun to carry for CCW. There are no safeties to fumble with in case god forbid you are in a situation where you actually need to use your gun. It's almost a semi-auto version of a revolver.
Nice Job, thank you for your patriotism to the Republic! I have a 26 with extended clips. I like the feel of the longer clip. I Learned very quickly to NEVER touch that trigger! Only when committed to firing it. The trigger is the safety, other than that it is one of , if not the safest pistols ever.
Glocks are light, mechanically and operationally simple, reliable and priced decently. But the ergonomics are . . . different. If they didn't feel like I was gripping a 2x4 in my hands, I would probably own several.
I've owned alot of handguns in the last 20 years, I believe the glock has been my favorite. I know it's not for everyone but it fits my hand very well.
I finally made up my mind I just bought both the Glock 19 Gen 5 and the CZ P10 C. I am up changing triggers and installing night sights on both. My fun begins.
I dont think Glock was ever trying to be the most beautiful gun out there. It’s accuracy and dependability they were after and they certainly have that!!
@@maskman8712 lol. Definitely. Cuz you’re in the minority. Lol. Try the S&W m2.0 compact. Just as reliable, same exact size but much better looking in my opinion.
@@MrKeith75 hahaha i know im the minority here. Im used to that. I love the blocky look of the Glock. To me, its how i would design a pistol if i ever ran a gun company. Lol
@@maskman8712 that’s cool. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just a bonus that you like the look. The Bwretta 92FS is the best looking in my opinion. Glock are just kinda square. Nothing really to look at I guess. If you haven’t checked out the M2.0 compact. You should. Excellent gun and extremely reliable.
Bought my G22 in 1998. Never ever had a malfunction with it. I then added a G26 for ultra concealed carry. Then a G32 for 357 Sig power, when required.
Good stuff Sootch! Yeah knowledge and information is truly lacking on why one is good and one is bad when it comes to different firearms...IMO there are very few truly "BAD GUNS" on the market, but very often it is the cross of personal opinions that muddy up the waters. Nice selection of firearms at @7:30 ....Keep up the good work -Andrew GY6vids
I'm always impressed with your videos--thank you for taking the time to make them! I am getting ready to purchase my first (personal) pistol, and I have been absolutely stymied by the choices available. I suppose that's kind of a nice problem to have. I also grew up with the 1911, and have spent nearly all of my time shooting and carrying my father's Colt series 80 service pistol. Frankly, I was going to just go ahead and get a Glock because of all the stellar reviews, but holding one felt totally alien to me. After watching this, I think I've realized I'd really rather get something that I'm more familiar with. I guess I'm kind of a sucker for blued steel and rosewood grips :) Thanks again!
I purchased a model 22 .40 cal, gen 1. I picked it up and it just fit my hand perfectly. Added a Hogue slip on Finger Groved grip. 25 plus years of reliable service.
HK45 is the perfect sidearm. It's full sized but actually not as big as it appears to be so I have no problem concealing it. It has an o ring so it's more accurate. It holds 10 rounds normal mag 13 with jumbo mag. This gun will beat the shit out of your glock any day. It's .45 ACP so it will actually put down a bad guy unlike your useless glock where you could pull the trigger all day and take forever to take someone out.
I own several different pistols some cost a lot more than a Glock but if I had to choose a pistol to defend my life with that absolutely must work it's my Glock 19
Nothing beats the G19 for CC. Nothing slimmer, lighter, more reliable. For carrying 16 rounds with a 4.1" barrel. You can't get any "more gun" for the weight and size. Those sub compact guns just aren't accurate enough
I hated these "plastic" guns until my friend gave me a glock 27 40 cal and two boxes of ammo to try. I wasn't even through my first box when I got it. Now I carry one. Thoroughly reliable and accurate.
I want the first handgun I buy to be a glock (I’m not a HUGE glock nerd) but the reliability and quality at that price point is undeniable. I have a huge respect for the gun, and I think it’ll be a great first gun in my personal collection.
It's simple. But it's high-tech. That's it! They've really made it more comfortable from the originals. The "plastic" gun rumor was a MASSIVE publicity coup for Glock, indirectly. Beautiful handles on your collection. Well presented post.
I was a big 1911 guy. I still love my RIA M-1911-A1FS and still carry it on occasion. I used to consider Glocks cheap ass Austrian tupperware. Then one day a friend of mine and I got into the typical 1911 vs Glock argument which ended with him saying "Here. Take my Gen 4 Glock 19 and carry it for a week. Take it to the range and fire it. Then tell me it's junk." We made a gentleman's arrangement. He would carry my 1911 and I would carry his glock... I carried it and I took it to the range... His Glock is now my Glock and it is my EDC gun. I bought it from him. (No I didn't trade my beloved 1911 for it. :)
I carried a 1911 from 1976 on but in 1992 I worked off duty for the U. S. Marshal Service. They carried a Glock which I called a Boat anchor. I shot one that my friend carried and I enjoyed it. Since 1998 I carry a Glock off duty. I got the 54th Lipsey Vickers Glock 19. I just got a Glock 19 gen 5 for EDC! Thanks Glock!
I needed a gun for EDC that was simple, and reliable. The G17 gen4 was the one I went with. They're so common with Law Enforcement, I figured it was a no brainer. But... I'm looking to switch over to a Beretta M9a3. They're a hell of a lot more comfortable to hold and shoot. I like the trigger a bit more than the Glock's standard, too. I'm not selling my G17 tho. fucc dat.
@@carterbusby239 I think so. There's a few different versions. The Gen 4 has finger grooves, the Gen 5 has no finger grooves. Plus with Gen 4s and 5s, you're able to tack on rear grip panels, so there's versatility there if you need it. The earlier glocks don't have much variety, but they still fit in the hands okay. Not to mention all the aftermarket accessories you can find for added comfort, so...
Silly me; When I wanted a 9mm pistol I went and handled 15 different guns. Picked the one the was the most comfortable and had had the controls in the most convenient places for my hand to operate. Sorry it wasn't a Glock, but if a Glock suits someone else best great. I just don't need people offended that I don't own one.
Glock 17's "safe action" system is like the quartz revolution of the watches. Glock 17 was designed to meet the requirements of the Austrian defense ministry where it was required to be less than 800grams, less than 40 pieces (glock 17 was made with 34 pieces or so), and other safety features... where glock has invented the hybrid(single+double action) system also known as the "safe action". It's pretty amazing how glock 17 revolutionized the modern hand guns despite being the first gun ever made by Glock. Its simplicity became their identity, the Glock Perfection.
I have a Glock 19 Gen 4 and I have NEVER had a single glitch, hiccup, or any kind of problem with it. It's the only pistol I own that fires every single time I pulled the trigger. Awesome pistol.
What other pistols do you own? I have a safe full of semi autos and they all work. Which one of yours does not?
All semi autos have a 50% jam rate all you need is one bad round ......Period.......

I love the simplicity and reliability of Glock. I have the 19 and 30 purchased in 1999 and they function as though they are new out of the box.
I've had a Glock 17 for years and have put every type of ammo through it for thousands of rounds and have NEVER had a failure!
The glock never jams or fails ever.
@@RichardSavon I heard a guy shoot his glock about 36,000 times and it broke but he swapped the trigger and it worked again

How much is the price of Glock ?!
COOLER Man Omaha Nebraska area, sir. It’s been almost 23.5 years ago. I sure don’t miss confrontations anymore.
You mean Generation 2. ;)
is the 19 also accurate?
HarvesterOfSorrow never shot a 19, maybe someone besides me can answer your question.
No better or worse than anything else. Practice!!!
Should have kept at least one 1911 for historical reasons
1. It's cheap but still well made.
2. 99.999% of the times you pull the trigger it will go bang.
The reasons why Glock handguns are so popular.
Dan Shorkey what are you even saying?
Shorkey is illiterate.
Acerbane my glock goes oof
@Dan Shorkey are you ok?
Dan Shorkey i undertood your comment with no problem (unlike others 🙄).
Glocks sold.
I sold mine after shooting less than 200 rounds.
I’ve never been too crazy about it all these years, ...til I tried the G19...
+Atticaz Welcome to the family!
Welcome all to the Glock Fam!!!
Im not.
But here are a few reasons i went with glock
Im very accurate with any glock that i pick up.
I think the blocky shape of the Glock is quite nice. I just don't understand what so many people have against it.
simple is beautiful
thats why apple products are that popular
+Stefano Pavone Personally I think the Glock pistol is aesthetically pleasing, But I can see where someone who calls it a brick is coming from hah
Mister Miney true. I love the look.
Call me crazy, but I love the way Glock looks. I think it's rugged and just works. It gives me confidence every time I fire it.
It’s one of the ugliest and most basic pistols out there
@@Ligmanuttz And it works every time. Has never failed me

6 Glocks in. Glock 21 Gen 2, Glock 30SF Gen 3, Glock 19 Gen 3, Glock 19X, Glock 29SF Gen 4, and my recent baby Glock 45 MOS. Love them all, not one regret.
I hated Glocks for the longest time. mainly because everyone, their uncle, and their grandmama had one.... then i bought a Gen3 17.... in love.
Simple, cheap, bulletproof. Literally it's the ak47 of handgun
Daniel Bargas yep
Agreed
But with the durability of an HK
“bulletproof”? -- A gun is “bulletproof”? What the hell, Daniel? You're killing me! LMAO!
all of that and relatively light if you carry all day
I bought a G17 FDE gen 4 a couple of days ago.
Glock 33 .357 Sig. My EDC. Never has malfunctioned in over 12 years.
Try a sig p226 or p229. Even an older p239. Then let us know...

As my captain said “ you have to own a Glock to appreciate one”!
You don’t appreciate your own dick? What a tossed
Glock, Smithy, Springfield, and Ruger are my beloved 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.
Ruger 10-22 yes lc9 nooooooo.
Sig
Let's just hope there is no apocalypse 🙏
I also love walther they have some great handguns and HK has some good ones too
I love mine.
I have a 17 and I hate it, it's so big for no reason. and weak ass caliber. I'll take my 10 mm Glock 29 any day over the 17.
It was competing with beretta at the time. Which is also a large gun in a weak caliber.
all those other guns have roll pins except the glock you can simply change any part in the whole gun in minutes and you can make the glock just the way you like it instantly and there mags are second to none.
Your SF rocks. What did you do with the 229?
I am seriously considering purchase of a handgun. I am focusing on the Glock 19 or a Walther PPX in 9mm. What do you think would be best to get?
Love it!
My whole 29 years of existence I always thought a Glock was just a slang for the word gun lol I never knew it was a brand of guns lol

Jakob Schober and Adolf...
Why is Glock so popular? Cheap, simple, effective.
MIKE FORCE what guns are those?
cheap you must be rich
Maybe cheap in US But in my country glock double its price
MIKE FORCE greed? They don't teach economics in school anymore do they. Sad
I carried a Model 17 every day for 15 months when I worked in South West Asia and I found it to be accurate and reliable, all I needed.
Holy crap what were you doing there? Was it really dangerous??
I absolutely love the simplicity of my G19. Every time I pull the trigger it goes bang, and it hits what I aim it at and it's reasonably priced.
So does my hi point
@@ClashClans-hn7vx This is what I keep thinking!!! You're the only one to say it. If we can tolerate an ugly gun that's made of plastic because it's reliable, why not tolerate an ugly gun made of zinc that's reliable!

If Hi Points are fantastic pistols, then yes.
Baretta: Hold my beer.
I am a woman with a size 6 hand. What do you recommend for a 1st time gun lady?
Nancy M-R Absolutely Brother.
"Why so popular"?
Um, because they work. (and work...and work.....and work........).
And? FNS9s work, CZ P09s work, M&Ps work. I promise you, each one of those pistols is every bit as reliable as a Glock.
Zachary M As cheap as Glock? Or they just didnt have the same reputation as Glock?
Zach Miller they are now, they haven't always been, and not at the same price (Glock's used to be cheap)
Yeah, so do Springfield, Smith and Wesson, Ruger, and..........a lot more

All allies should be accepted, only scorn the behavior that rightfully hurts our image (litterbugs are high on the list, as are senseless murderers and other bad stuff)
Open carry may hurt are image with some, but it shows others it's OK. Also, with the proliferation of home gunsmithing the monetary barrier to entry has dropped dramatically. Not to long now that $50 ccp/ccw/cpl/ whatever a state calls the unconstitutional permit necessary for concealing will be the most expensive part of the process. *at the very least you must see that it also alienates people to not support open carry, and in some states could make the difference between being legal to carry or not*
Please, please consider decenting the high horse that you and so many others have taken to mounting.
(It also let's me know that is probably a good guy to have a beer with, as most non-internet warrior gun guys are)
I am absolutely appalled the former norm, the largest way to show 2a support, the simple inaction of not hiding your gun is something prominent voices will throw shade on.

Most of the people who hate them never owned one .
I'll tell you why I love My Glock. Besides the fact that it's dead reliable, It is the easiest gun to carry for CCW. There are no safeties to fumble with in case god forbid you are in a situation where you actually need to use your gun. It's almost a semi-auto version of a revolver.
Dont kill someone
Nice Job, thank you for your patriotism to the Republic! I have a 26 with extended clips. I like the feel of the longer clip. I Learned very quickly to NEVER touch that trigger! Only when committed to firing it. The trigger is the safety, other than that it is one of
, if not the safest pistols ever.
Glocks are light, mechanically and operationally simple, reliable and priced decently. But the ergonomics are . . . different. If they didn't feel like I was gripping a 2x4 in my hands, I would probably own several.
It was my first gun. The instructor said it’s reliable, simple and relatively affordable and not a bad choice for you’re first hand gun
Famous quote, “they didn’t need to think.” I’m dead ....
I've owned alot of handguns in the last 20 years, I believe the glock has been my favorite. I know it's not for everyone but it fits my hand very well.
I own like 2 of them. Guides me through Dallas streets at night.
Absolutely. Guess its a bonus that i love how they look!
I personally really liked Glock guns's shape, designs and the looks man! ☺️
I love the .45 1911! I bought me one on the weekend a Colt competition series and im in love ☺️ so beautiful
The Glock is more like a tool and looks like an air soft. Can’t compare it to a Colt 1911 45, a true classic.
Nice selection of firearms at @7:30 ....Keep up the good work

This is a pretty old video, but still relevant and straight to the point for beginners like me.
Thanks for the information!
25 plus years of reliable service.
glock is the perfect side arm...thanks glock gaston....god bless you
HK45 is the perfect sidearm. It's full sized but actually not as big as it appears to be so I have no problem concealing it. It has an o ring so it's more accurate. It holds 10 rounds normal mag 13 with jumbo mag. This gun will beat the shit out of your glock any day. It's .45 ACP so it will actually put down a bad guy unlike your useless glock where you could pull the trigger all day and take forever to take someone out.
i like this guy, he gives off a positive vibes
I own several different pistols some cost a lot more than a Glock but if I had to choose a pistol to defend my life with that absolutely must work it's my Glock 19
Glock 17 was my second pistol and it fires like a champ!!! Lightweight and accurate!!!
Its popular because its a good price and it is reliable. No need to watch the video i just told you why its popular.
They go and go and go ! Love my Glocks.
Thoroughly reliable and accurate.
glock 19 is a great gun plain and simple it works
oh my gosh. someone who isnt a jackass.
Brandon Largo Refreshing isn't it. A Glock fan that isn't a jackass. Rare breeds...
+TOBORE8THMAN oiiii
Joseph Gross is that true
Joseph Gross same here
I want the first handgun I buy to be a glock (I’m not a HUGE glock nerd) but the reliability and quality at that price point is undeniable. I have a huge respect for the gun, and I think it’ll be a great first gun in my personal collection.
The out takes at the end are hilarious!!!! lol
Love the intro youngguns and straight to it highlights
The toyota of guns.
Not fancy but pretty good and cheap and super dependable even with spotty maintenance.
Austrian craftsmanship.
Bruningable same goes for the AUG.
Yeah Australia!

"I don't always carry, but when I do it's Walther, shoot responsibly my friends"😄
No mames guey!
I'm not selling my G17 tho. fucc dat.
Is the 17 comfortable?
@@carterbusby239 I think so. There's a few different versions. The Gen 4 has finger grooves, the Gen 5 has no finger grooves. Plus with Gen 4s and 5s, you're able to tack on rear grip panels, so there's versatility there if you need it. The earlier glocks don't have much variety, but they still fit in the hands okay.
Not to mention all the aftermarket accessories you can find for added comfort, so...
Just bought my first Glock a 17 Gen 5 , a good friend of mine bought a Glock Gen 1 and I was a Browning Hi Power fan I am now a convert.
"Grab your Glock when you see Tupac!"
Call the cops when you see Tupac.
You mean Onepac, after his 1994 gunshot to the balls?
They shot em but the punks couldn’t finish now you bout to feel the wrath of a menace

hahaha love your outtakes, reminds me of Jackie Chan ones.
Perhaps you can share with it what gun it was ? I, myself would love to know. Let me guess, a S&W M+P ?
***** Walther P-38
Dat ist gut !
Paul Varga Nazi much?
Paul Varga you should have tried a P08 Luger.
