Yes we end up doing anything and everything to them eventually dad wondering how are all the tyres worn out at every 10k kms 🤣 and how the sound of the car has somewhat changed over the years after being revved to the limiter in every gear over and over again, also how his friend who claims he gets 2x the fuel economy as per dad's calculation in the same model. My dad ended up selling the car for a new dumb compact sedan when I was in college back in 2017 and to date we still get into fights sometimes whenever that comes up I still miss that car it was a ford fiesta naturally aspirated not the rs spec but the mechanically equivalent mid trim of the same.
We have honda civic EK4 rally car, my dad has it and we are driving it in Czech Rep. So it is Tarmac rally. The civic is the cheap way to have a lot of fun and great experience. It can be comparable with the new fwd cars. So don't sleep on the Honda civic, it can be fast...
What about a lancer evo x? I can only get one car (that my dad allow me to buy) so should i started with the evo x and race with low speed and slowly go faster? I need some serious advice to this because i can't wait another few years until i can buy another car, not to mention the cost of parking too.
Play Dirt Rally 2.0 and practice from the slow cars to the fast cars. Rally isn't easy. You will want a slow car. Also Rally cars have VERY short gearings so stock won't be enough. Get something that is proven to be resilient.

I have to disagree. The best rally car is a rental minivan
budget friendly fwd cars are suzuki swift, honda civic, toyota corolla old....rwd bmw 320i
Honda Civic and budget don't go together anymore, mk1 focus would be better

throw the jaguar x type 3.0 in here, its super unwieldy and heavy on pavement, but on loose surfaces, its a dream come true

yeah he doesn't really know a lot but i do think a cage is super important though ESPECIALLY if you're starting out
@@evannachmanif you like your life, cage is the first thing you do to your car. Also you can't race without a cage atleast in my country.
