When Netflix announced they were doing a War for Cybertron series…I had hoped it was a full adaption of these games haha sadly that’s not what happened. But I sure miss these games.

As far as i know, there is rumors of two transformers games coming out sometime this year. Last i recall one was a remake while the other is modified likely fall of cybertron since its technically on last generation consoles so they just need to do whatever they need to do. Remake is likely war for cybertron but thats just me. I'm pretty sure Microsoft would wanna capitalize the hype after transformers one similarly with deadpool and wolverine. So yeah there's a possibility these two might come back
I sat outside a Walmart at 7am on release day for WFC as i only saw it by accident on the front of the local flyer as a new game release. G1 Transformers was my childhood, and when I saw the behind the scenes videos where Matt Tieger said, "This is the Transformers game I've been waiting 25 years to play!" I was knew it was going to be something truly amazing FOC was an amazing following up too. I didn't like how, I'm guessing because of Bayformers, BumbleBee couldn't talk in FOC, his voice lines and character where just amazing in WFC. I also liked the multiplayer and Escalation in WFC better, because you "felt" more like an actual Transformer, having to combine moving in robot mode and transforming to land an attack or escape a fight, it was a perfect balance to movement. It felt like their was too much "running" in FOC, I also really liked Escalation better in WFC, the way you could point share to open doors, buy your friends a replacement weapon if they needed it. It was really team play at it's best. no round caps, Escalation was better in WFC for many reasons. Either way both WFC and FOC are the best Transformers games ever!!! As it's the 40th Anniversary of Transformers, we should at least have gotten a Remastered Combo Set of Both Games...more importantly, we need Tieger and his High Moon Team to finally give us the 3rd game of the Transformers arriving on Earth. If I see the Autobot Ark crashing into the Volcano, I think I'd lose my mind in joy!. Massive love and props to everyone who still loves WFC and FOC...waiting for the 3rd game. #Complete the Cybertron Series.
Fall of cybertron was ported to ps4 but it is delisted. I still have it in my Playstation digital library. You dont get the cinematic cg intro/trailer though probably becausr of the liscenced song with it.

i play this games new online mod and it feels just like good old days with good soundtracks and you really feel like you the transformer fighting in the war so it needs remaster for best online ever

nothings speaks "absolute cinema" as the parallels between Metroplex giving up on his spark to fuel the ark out of his free will while Trypticon was revived as a vessel for the decepticons with no free will
I think it deserves a remaster, but I don’t think it will ever happen. Activison was the company that published the game, and in 2017, Activision’s rights to publish transformers games had expired. So that means that these games and any other tf games published by Activision can’t be sold on digital stores like steam, psn, or Xbox, or be rereleased ever again.
I don’t think it’ll be this year. I had hoped for an announcement for the 40th Anniversary. My best guess is maybe next year. I just hope I’m not saying that again in 2025 😂

Honestly, I’m ok without a remaster. With the current track record of remakes, I think this is one of those gems that can stay a classic. Maybe a re release with some fixed would do it justice
Totally understandable why you’d be hesitant. Honestly I’d be happy to just have the graphics upgraded and keep everything else the same, if it means we get it back on the market.
I didn't love the 2 of Cybertron games, I adored them! Favorite part is as Decepticons in War when you're about to overtake the bridge and defend it against a small army. Loved the desperation I felt just trying to survive, with the bombers come flying in ending that particular instance. Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to remake War, because that game was made using game engine Unreal 3. We're currently on Unreal 5 or 6. The studio would have to redo the entire game from scratch or do a form of emulation for it to work on current Gen. Fall is entirely possible, been out before there before, it's just about the rights and a fresher upper. The downside to me with both of the games is they aren't exactly what you could call pick up n play kind of games. For instance, during lunch break I had 30 min. Either I did a couple of rooms in Batman Arkham Asylum's challenges, OR waste some minutes for nothing playing a bit of War or Fall of Cybertron with gear I didn't like in a story I had to cancel to go back to work in time. Wasn't always I had an hour to spare even after work, and sometimes I just didn't wanted to commit to gaming for that long.

If they remake this i better not see no pay to win bullshit no season pass and no use real money for making your transformer look cool i just want the grind through the levels like you used to to unlock stuff

I remember playing these 2 on the PS3 and as a fan these games need a remaster on the PS5 and XBOX1. Activision needs to do this
