How to fold & unfold your Brompton | With tips on folding the pedal & locking the frame in place

The are hundreds of videos out there about how to fold a Brompton cycle, but few answer all of the nitty gritty questions like 'why my pedal is so tricky to fold up'.
This our attempt to explain all the nooks and crannies you encounter on your fold whilst simplifying the process so you can master it in no time.
Elliot, our resident Canadian at Brompton Australia, goes through the 5 steps:
1. Fold the back wheel under the frame
2. Fold the frame in half
3. Fold down the handlebars
4. Lock the seat post down
5. Fold the pedal

I've carried a Montague, converted to e power, in my small plane for years, and recently got a Brompton also. The Montague is great for big rides, as it has a big motor, big battery, and a Rohloff hub, but it's overkill for a lot of my needs. It's always fun to wow other pilots with how fast I can get the Montague out after landing (2.5-3 minutes) the Brompton will wow even more!

I have a Brompton that is different from the model you showed. I believe my model is 2007.

The Brompton fold is consistent across models - the removable pedals are a notable difference, but your 2007 Brompton should fold like just the House Red Brompton in this demo.
