@@Gozarak It's true that honor gear has always been bad, but doing lfr and getting 40 ilvl higher gear is a bit much.You can upgrade it to be like 5 ilvl higher than lfr gear but that is 30k honor (each bg gives about 100 per win and 300 for first win of the day), which takes a whole lot more time than doing a simple m0 or lfr. Rated pvp gear drops have been bad for a long time now, for example you have to get glad for gear that is worse than raiding gear.

Nightfae conduits give your shaman wolf form with blink, a classic warrior OOC charge into a 5 second druid bash to start your cc chain.. awesome for a wheelchair class like pally, who can HoJ off the nightfae bash. Or simply pillar humping in Soulshape form to passively heal the 5% every 3 seconds.. (1:00 for reference)
Agreed , didnt they learn anything from corruptions. So instead of worrying about dying to gushing wounds every game , i have to worry about paladins blinking .

thanks for the video, this expansion is making it very difficult to choose...everyone being immune to cc for 4 seconds or jumping around like foxes is also just sort of annoying. I wish blizzard would get away from giving everyone the same abilities like essences and this convenant crap.

honestly these movement abilities are way too much! there is no way pvp can be balanced around all of the fuzz that's going to come to arena and change the matchups
just to mention, as far as I know for warlocks, the necrolord shield would come off after the soul leech damage which makes it highly potential for them. Also worth to mention the demonic circle / recast combo as well.
It’s like that for classes too, I want to play a fun yet also good class, but if I wanna be amongst top I feel forced into playing a spec I don’t want to. Like destro lock instead of demonology.

Game pairs "similar skilled players against each other" So if u were to fight in arena as destro VS another destro of similar or same skill level, the one with most broken covenant wins, aka it currently being necrolord. If you were to pick something that u like like kyrian, in no world will u ever beat the other destro lock. Your example is something that's been in wow since it's inception except in MoP where most classes could compete at high level. One could argue that WotLK was also good in this regard but i think MoP was a bit better. NOTE: Reason why i used MoP was because at it's peak balance, almost every single spec could be played at high level. You can argue about WotLK, Cata but overall, i think MoP had the most choice when it came to PvP

DK's are in a great spot, all 4 cov's look solid. currently night fae is winning as the cookie cutter pick overall, but necrolord and kyrian im liking the most atm for pvp specific reasons. the phial in pvp will just add more defense + shackles against melee's or necro with limbs seems amazing. im not a fan of how fleshcraft works, think the channel is too long. venthyr seems to be BiS for aoe builds in pve if that is your fancy, and night fae like i said before is the overall best for the majority of things pve and pvp. tldr cookie cutter = night fae. necro and kyrian = pvp niche. venthyr = pve aoe niche.
the 50% mortalstrike doesnt apply to pvp but the kyrian phial does which will add heaps more survival. Kyrian I think might be the best choice for arms pvp/arena.
You forgot to mention that venthyr door of shadows is shadow school so even if you get interrupted you can still cast heals (nature school). Also blue post confirmed that kyrian phial will work in arena.
this is really cool... makes all classes much different from each other..even classes that are the same spec... blizz did good about making more VARIETY instead of 500 clones of the same spec... not all ret pallys are the same etc.
@@SouLr0x Speaking as a vanilla born player and pvp Glad in 3 seasons I do find Blizzard integrating things that are just going to complicate the balance and unnecessary will eventually even drive away the hardcore players, me being 1, you can say no 1 will miss a few players gone here and there but I can already feel alot of the losses compared to ROTLK and Cata days, over half of the hardcore players I use to do arenas and bgs with have gone since WOD and have no returned and many more gone from pvp during legion and when Blizzard started to mess around and forced pvp players to play PVE alot more has gone, this is another stage of it, WOW is aging and can't afford to alienate the loyalists, in fact the main thing keeping this game relevant is its prestigious 3v3 rating system and forcing us to put all effort into PVE so we can play PVP is a dangerous step to take.

They know what the cost is of developing a good expansion for PvP players (is pretty high) and they know what the amount of players is that exclusively plays PvP (hint: its really low). Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to "fix PvP" which is shown by Blizzard every single expansion again.

Letting their poisons proc gushing wounds when other classes bleeds don't is also the problem. Dying to a rogue in a stun when he uses 0 cds but procs 5 gushings on you due to his poisons is also the problem.

@@abaiser9258 we dont know the exact ilvl formula for rated pvp gear and honor gear was always really bad. The stats indeed a real problem.

They nerfed venthyr too. It does around 60% less damage than before.
Honestly I'm looking forward to it. Night Fae for priest, giving the slow as molasses class some mobility is nice finally.
Well i think that Healers in General could be very good with Kyrian, if they change it for ranked pvp. You always get trained °°
If you can use it while kicked its a very nice cd, esp if it heals for 50% over 10s with the one soulbind thing
