Super easy my brother! Doesn’t take nearly as long as the video but I had to talk a lot in hopes of addressing any concerns or questions folks might have!
I use the shrink fit tubing you use on fishing pole handles. fits nicely and since it is for fishing poles, it does not get slippery when wet. I've also used that plumbers rescue tape, the kind you wrap around leaky pipes, also works well.
Ah yes Super Blue, my friend. I've blued many a gun barrel, and tomahawk, and I also used it on my BPS Savage knife. It turned out nicely. And you can simply use denatured alcohol, to clean the blade. Basically to get rid of any oil or other residue. The more coats you put on, the better it looks. And I've never had a bottle go bad on me. Any ways, looks nice, I'm just not a fan of the Tracker knife. Always thought it looked a bit goofy, and hard to sharpen.
Definitely tough to sharpen! I think what happened is when I layed the package all back together, some of the bottle leaked out into each other. Or it could have been because I left the metal swap applicator inside the bottle of blue. It does say that it’s corrosive so that may have been what caused it lol. Should have kept the video of me pulling it out the bottle and it crumbling to pieces on me 😂🤣
