Learn how to solve mesh current circuit problems. In this electronic circuits course, you will learn how to write down the mesh current equations and solve for the currents in each branch of the circuit.
This electronics lesson shows how to walk around each mesh loop of the circuit and add up the voltage drops around the path. This is the central point of mesh analysis and is very easy to do once you learn and practice the technique..

you can solve this in 30 seconds just by looking at it. mesh a: add all resistors = 45. mesh b add all resistors = 35. mesh c add all resistors = 65. what resistor shares between a and b? 5. which shares between a and c? 40. resistor b and c? 10. now if you look at the matrix you can see the pattern. the diagonal will always be positive the rest will be negative and mirror each other.

Fantastic work, this is helping me far better than my college professor can!

Didn't he do the power problem wrong at the very end though? P should be Ia * V, it should be (Ia-Ib)*V.

The solving the matrix part makes me want to slit my wrists. I am taking the inverse of each number but I am not getting the answers he is. For example, for 45, I am getting 0.222 repeating. I'm so hopelessly lost and upset.

your a very good teacher. I love how you always review everything you do after a few steps. Im struggling a little in class to keep up because we just keep continuing through the problems with little to no review.

top notch video. true excellence. you touch on subtleties with convention esp. with the voltage drop from negative terminal to positive as negative, and assuming the polarity of the resistor to conform with the direction of current being analysed at that point. keep it up!

Great Video! The only thing I would suggest is showing more detail on how to solve the matrix without a calculator. Can't leave out Crammers Rule.
