7:40 i think villain lead cause he thought you might check back AK which you should do cause you don’t get called by worst , so i guess his play would make money vs the pool
Yeah I like his lead. This is sorta ehat a solver would do as well: if river brings in a bunch of value combo's of OOP and IP's turn valuebets want to insta-check back, then it's generally a spot where leads occur.
4:05 - our combo seems good in theory to XR shove, but i thought this video was about exploits. what about the way villain played the hand incentivizes us to XR shove here?
Hey mate, yeah the pool generally over-calls versus check-raises after betting large on the river. Exploitatively we should probably just click call. The only reason I jammed was because I knew he was streaming, he knew I was recording and we have some history as I was on his podcast. That's why I said: ugh, I only have one option here (versus him in this moment)😅 Exploitatively you *never* want to raise here and I don't think it's close. Pools betting range is stronger when they bet big and you make some very strong hands indifferent that pool is always calling.
Hi Patrick. I wanted to ask, how are you able to do MDA for RNC when RNC hands aren't tracked by HH websites? Also Smarthand and Statname don't track RNC hands. Not that I think MDA makes someone a crusher instantly, but it definitely offers an edge over someone who doesn't have access to that info. I guess that's another reason for me not to play RNC. 😄
Your videos are a master piece💎 I would like to ask you when do you prefere to bet you air region on flop vs fish , rathen than on missed lines , i end up checking too much of flop feeling it s the best line to exploit fish, few tips about this topic? Wish you the best!
Thanks for the kind words. To be honesy that depends on the situation. One of the problems with checking air is that recs are betting future streets more often, meaning that you'd over-fold versus probes and stabs. In a lot of situations they also dont over-call, so checking to exploit isn't necessarily a thing. On some nodes it could be, but like I said, it depends on the node. The best thing you can do is create a game-plan, preferrably including data, so that you gain a vision of what their acrual tendencies are.
