- These are top 10 Winter Hotels in Malta !! If you plan to visit Malta this winter 2024, here is a video with information on which Hotel to choose. If you are staying in Valletta you can choose Phoenicia Hotel which is the oldest Hotel in Malta or Inial Harbour House which is the most expensive Hotel in Malta. If you stay in Sliema you can choose the Waterfront Hotel. These are some of the best hotels in Malta and they all come with a different price point.

I stayed at the Waterfront hotel once during winter season. I absolutely liked it. Great view to the harbour with a small balcony. I would stay there again!

i just stayed in Mellieha in November. Just because it is not that crowdy as Valletta or Sliema. Only problem of that side of Malta, the bus connections are not all ideal. But hotel with rooftop pool, spa, bar, restaurant. So everything you need during a holiday ;)

Nice info as usual, Alex! I'm amazed how fluidly you provide information without resorting to a script it seems -- what a natural public speaker you are! One of my friends loved staying at the Floriana hotel, the Phoenicia, and she and her sister loved it! Me, I enjoyed having tea there a few times during their weekday afternoon tea service. And personally, I like the St. Julien's and Sliema areas for their liveliness, too, although I also liked Floriana for its authentic Malta vibe.
This is extremely helpful information! I stayed at Hotel Juliani this January and everthing about it was outstanding! I highly recommend, Actually I'm staying there again in 3 weeks. 😊

I’ve been privileged to stay in a few good hotels over the past few years as we are regular visitors to Malta.
Here’s my list.
4. The Hilton
3. Grand Excelsior ( Great pool and view)
2. Phoenicia (Best garden and pool )
1. Malta Marriott & Spa ( best value and best size rooms with great views of Balutta bay)
Hopefully you could get into a few and do a guide!
I stayed in Marriott last week, i loved it. I dont like Excelsior tho, i loved the pool in Phoenicia. In Hilton i have been only in their lobby and restaurants

My daughter stayed at the Seaview last year fir her honeymoon and said it was lovely and well worth it xx

They were very happy to help when I emailed them to say it was a honeymoon and the staff there made very sweet for them leaving cakes and made towels into swans it was so cute x

The Barcelo Fortina is very nice too with a great view.
I highly recommend Hotel Juliani especially if you are looking for a central boutique style hotel that is also super relaxing and friendly 💙
Hey Alex, just an idea, yeah you should make the hotel pay if not once you see how many people view your video, you should tell the hotel and tell them your video has had x views numbers and you made a add for them
Either you got pay or have a week end for free or a nice table for dinner for 2 pay by the hotel. Either way the hotel win cause you will talked about them even more...🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊🎉🎉❤🎉🎉

Hi Mary, i dont like Bugibba, but i like Mellieha, especially Santa Maria estate. But im not keen on the north part of Malta in general
Alex we stayed at St Patrick’s Hiotel in Xlendi Bay last year it was nice but there’s now a lot of building work there which I think is spoiling a peaceful area. 😢
I loved St Patrick, the first time i went to Gozo i stayed there, 2015, last time i went to Gozo i couldnt recognize Xlendi, they ruined it

They are changing the main door
The Bayview used to have Italian school children and students from Italy. It was very noisy, and it completely ruined the peace of the hotel, it might be worth asking before booking.
