I'm 17, been playing since I was 13, and I have learned so much in the 1 1/2 months of watching your videos, then over the 4 years 11 months of playing. For you to keep up with your subscribers progress, I can do all of these strumming patterns. You sure do brighten up everyone's day with your humor in your videos. My goodness, 🤦♀ Please forgive me, got carried away... But I was thinking about "Strong Love" by John Thurlow. Some, of the words are mentioned in the Bible, such as... Romans 8:37-3937 "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." i was always like down down up up down up etc before i found you .....its like you do it a totally different way ...hang on this guy just has rhythem ...no need to play like a robot any more
Hey Matt, I enjoy how you play the guitar and I enjoy the songs you do, but I just cannot play them without the strumming patterns. I know you say "strumming is all about timing," but when you play the songs, you stick to certain strumming patterns, because it sounds like the song does. It would be super helpful if you included the patterns, without them I am lost and I feel I always will be really, for me it seems strumming is not about timing, strumming is about a pattern. For example, when you did a video about "wagon wheel," and you included the strumming pattern you used, I got it down in no time, without them I am just like watching you perform, which is enjoyable but does not teach me how to play the song.

Each song has a tutorial. Focus on the timing of each chord! The patterns will come
